I got inspired to work on one of my novels. So I worked feverishly for about an hour. Then I stopped. I started to think, what is the point? Am I just wasting my time? What am I going to do with page after page of a manuscript? Do I have what it takes to try and market it like I tried to market another novel a few years back. I just don't think I do anymore. It's fun to write while you are doing it. But really, what's the point?
What is all of my writing really going to accomplish? Who's going to read it? My daughter of course. But who else? I used to have a friend that couldn't wait for me to write another chapter. But I have lost contact with her. It's not like Faith, who is a poet and can put her work on thoughts. What am I supposed to do, put an entire novel on here? That would be nuts.
I just feel like I am wasting my time.
I don't know anymore.
Poetry just isn't my thing and never has been.
I have never been so discouraged about my writing ever before.
I have a really great idea for this one novel, that I've been working on. But I don't know. The only thing is, I'm not sure that I can keep myself from working on it? But will I be wasting my time?

Your not wasting your time. You cant think along the lines your thinking. You write for pleasure. There is nothing wrong with that. You never know what's down the road where you might be able to publish it. You might meet someone in that market. Anything could happen. Don't be discouraged.

Thanks so much Barbarajune for your comment. I can always count on you for encouragement. I have been reasing someone called Emmy, just not commenting. She seems to be so dedicated to writing. I have been working more. Thanks for all your help.
