Something wonderful happened 2 nights ago. Craig called very late. He never calls that late because of my Mom and her husband. But he said, "I just wanted to hear your voice."
My heart sang a song of golden bliss in my soul.
I cannot begin to tell you how very happy I was to hear him say that to me. That is so unlike him. He's never said it before. Not that way.
I told him that I couldn't begin to tell him how happy that made me for him to say that. I said I was so happy to hear his voice too.
We didn't talk but a few minutes. But those 7 words meant more to me than for him to say simply I love you.
Maybe we will make it yet! I pray all the time that we will.
I bought an adorable little shortie pink nightgown with cute little pink panties with bows on them.
I will leave April 25th.
I have the days marked off on the calendar like a child will mark off the days until Christmas.
Happiness reigns in my soul sometimes. But still I am depressed because we aren't together. His health is bad. And I am worried about him. But I still have those 7 big words to warm my heart.
Something wonderful did indeed happen between us. We are getting closer all the time.
