I guess I've always felt I didn't deserve a good man. But why? I've never done anything that would make me unworthy of a good relationship. All I know is I've always settled. settled for someone I shouldn't have. I think I was in love with love for a long time.
On Lifetime last night I watched all of Matched in Manhattan. One of the girl's was in love with love. I think that was like me.
I always wanted a knight on a white horse, like in the fairy tales. Every man I ever had I thought was that person. But he wasn't. So I've been disappointed all 3 times.
But now I've grown up. I still don't know if I am ready for the right relationship. I know deep down inside I still want the knight on the white horse to come and sweep me off my feet.
I always think everyone else will find the right man, but not me. I wonder why I feel that way.
I would be terrified to be married. I would want a long engagement! |

Could it be possible that the reason that you can't find the right man is because if you sttle for the man that isn't the knight on the white horse you think that you are settling for less. Sometimes you overlook the ones on the gray or black horses that might be just the one you're looking for. Keep your eyes open, sometimes good things pass you by when you least expect it.

It is important to get to know him better first before any steps further. This way you will know whether he is truly your knight on the white horse.
