| Black + White = Grey |
For me the world is Grey...it is not completely Black and White like some peoples, it has some hope in it but since the day I reached my 9th birthday, my world full of colours became Grey, dull. At age of 7 I started proper education in primary school ( i used to live in Poland where up to age of 7 you go to pre. school and then to primary) and the excitement overwhelmed me but after 2 years I realized the sad truth.
That school is not all fun and games, that it is hard work and that I have to work hard to keep up with the class. Mind you, I'm not stupid, its just that the standard of education was higher. I realized that sooner or later my so-called friend are gonna betray me for the popular ones ( and I was right ), lucky that now I've got true friends. I realized that I wont be able to rely on others as much as I did back then, that I will have to grow up eventually and that some day I will be alone in the world and will have to cope with things on my own.
So my world of unicorns jumping over the rainbows crashed and was replaced with reality. Hard reality which didn't turn out to be half as bad. Sure I wasn't completely happy with it but at least I wasn't lying to myself. I am quite fond of the fact that my world isn't exactly black and white, it would be too simple for me and at some points too dark or too light.
So what colour is your world, black and white, Grey or maybe rainbow coloured?
