 The Doors
Since I have nothing else to write, I thought I would write a ringing endorsement of my favorite group - The Doors.  I discovered them when I was a teenager.  I used to listen to them as I painted.  My favorite song is The End.  My favorite poem of Jim Morrison's is Feast of Friends.  Boy, talk about some great lines.  I don't think I or anyone else could write a poem like that.  Jim Morrison was truly talented.  It is because of the man I started writing poetry & guess what?  My first poem was about him.  Of course I can't remember it.  I wrote it over 15 years ago.  He was a great infuence on my life.  I know he had his short comings, but so do the rest of us.

That is a great compliment to a confused but I believe a good man. I don't really know a lot about them. I like some of their songs. I will have to read some of his poetry. Never have, I don't think.

Have a happy Day!!!

When I was in college (late 80's/early 90's), I listened to The Doors all the time. The only Doors album I don't have is American Prayer. But I think I burned out on them. I love Morrison Hotel and still break that one out occasionally.
