Blackout in KY

I have been off thoughts because I didn't have power. Some people here are still without power. Ours was down for 5 days in which I listened to my grandma and her husband argue about everything in sight. I was outside alot beating my head against the brick wall and smoking. It sucked.

Galvastan of course had alot worse to contend with. No house to have electricity in. That really sucks.

For you out there who have been or know people who have been effected by Ike my prayers are with you.

Glad you got it back!

Yes Texas had it much worse but who'd have thought a hurricane affect Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana???? I've never seen our Tornado season tear stuff up and happen to so many at once!
We were totally unprepared not to mention no warning other then "breezy day" forcasted. Texas at least knew it was coming.

I know what you were living through mine was out from Sunday to Thurs. It was stressful to say the least home alone with two kids!
Yes there's much to be thankful for but there was much to be desired as well!

Ours was out till Thurs. night. We had no warning. I got up on sunday and asked my grandma what was with the wind. She didn't know. I hadn't seen that since I left FL. And the trees. There were and still are in places the biggest honking trees. It was really crazy.
