 Might end up getting fired

I slapped a nasty dirty old man (customer) at my job for touching me the wrong way. I was frustrated and felt violated . I couldn't think of any other options at that time...so I slapped him in his face. What really irritates me is the fact that my boss was present at the time and didn't do nothing to prevent it...like kick him out or tell me to go in the back or move away from him. In situations like this, it's hard to think straight. Especially when your own boss is standing there laughing with three other coworkers.

The bastard came to me and started running his mouth about nonsenses, touching my back to get my attention because I was busy doing something and ignoring him. I gave him all the warnings in the world to move away and leave me alone, but he couldn't keep his hands off me. And I also think that all the laughings encouraged him to keep going, you know. So I even told my boss I was gonna slap him...well I did. She could've prevented that by kicking him out , or telling me to go in the back or whatever but no she had to stay there and laugh about it.

Now the whole thing blew up because she called up her supervisor the next day and told him the story (probably her way). The victim himself didn't make a big deal about it...I wonder why she did. Now she's telling not to mention that she was laughing??? She told me to make up some silly stories so I don't lose my job WTF?......Hell yeah I'm going to tell them nothing but the truth. At this point I don't care about the consequences......everything happens for a reason in life. Whatever's meant to happen will happen. It's all good !! One thing though, is that I don't think she likes me...she's the kind of person who looks down on others. I don't care though because I've never liked her...she kisses a** and acts all innocent. now she wanna bring me down . She got that annoying voice that gets on everyone's nerves. What a miserable wench!!

Wow, I'm glad you are standing your ground. In the end it will be the best thing you can do. If everyone stood up for themselves in life, this place would be a much better place.

If you get fired for this, I would think that you could fight it somehow. I don't think I would fight to keep your job,( they would probably just makes things hard on you) but you could at least fight it to make a point about what this guy did to you and how you are the one paying for it.

You had every right to do what you did...luckily in my job there's a platic barrier thing between me and the dirty old men. Stand your ground!!

If any person touches another without consent it is considered simple assault in the court of law. You warned the person to stop, and he persisted. Your act of slapping can therefore be considered an act of self defense.

Customers think they own you. I threw my purse at a customer one time, and hit them! They did not sue the store, but I guess they could have. My advice is to verbally correct the problem instead of slapping. But it is too late now.
