We come on this site to post our comments, and I look forward to receiving any kind of feedback, whether it's favorable or unfavorable; I'll either take the constructive criticism or pass on it, if it seemed like they didn't get my original message.

A few days ago I had the audacity to mention to some young lady that she might want to consider the use of "paragraphs" to break up the endless stream of words that just kept going and going...That apparently freaked her out, and acted like I told her to go to hell...Then one of her defenders, who doesn't get it, has been lambasting me like I'm this pissed off asshole, telling me I'm miserable and how dare I criticize things, etc...

All this venom from a simple statement from me which was intended to be helpful; it's absolutely amazing how stupid some people are.

No, not everyone has common sense. It's sad but true. And most people certainly DO NOT want your honest opinion, even if they beg for it, unless, of course, it happens to coincide with THEIR opinion. The short story is, people are going to do whatever they want, regardless of the counsel of friends/family. I have friends who DO genuinely respect my honest, yet twisted, assessments, and I have no problem being blunt with them. To my friends who I know don't want my unadulterated two-cents, I have gotten accustomed to simply saying, "That sucks" a whole lot. Seems to work better.
