Why is it so difficult to make friends on line?
I have been lucky so far, with making friends off line. Is the reason that we do not trust that easily those on line. Or is there another reason.
I remember when I was a kid how easy it was to make friends. You just go up to someone and said who you were and thats it, a new friend without any hassles. Well of cause as kids we trust and believe easily. In some ways we are still kids who wants to do that, but we are adults with trust issues and that is understandable. There are creeps out there and people that do not want the best from a friendship, only wants to use and abuse your frienship. You always must give more to a friend than you ever need, it is the most rewarding experience ever. Even a flower once in a while or a gift of some sort or even a helping hand with chores at there home, is the little things that friends can do for each other.
I am new at this and are willing to try out this kind of method to make friends that are genuine and true. Not only to me, but to themselves, because I do believe that friendship should start within yourself and that way you can be a friend to another for many years to come.
Friendship are kind, true, loving, caring, understanding and most of all free to make someone else feel better no matter what. It is a selfless act in itself. I have experience that when you there for your friends whenever they need you, you tend to feel good about yourself and the other person because you both meant so much for one another, that nothing about it is selfish.

I think you'll find many friends here at Thoughts. I't a wram, welcoming community for the most part. There are some out there you'll probably want to avoid but in general I find many here always willing to welcome you and offer you support, and of course their opinion! ;)

Welcome to thoughts.com.... I have made some wonderful friends on here. BUT I have also made some wonderful friends who I couldn't hold on to. So it's a little like off line too :)
