Hope you’re not still in shock
I know it may have been a massive knock
But I left many a clue
Only left them just for you
Thought you might pick up on one or two
But it’s not your fault what can you do
Our Friendship means a lot to me
mates like you don’t come for free
And good mates are really hard to find
Have I told you yet that your one of a kind?
I am sorry to make u blush so much
Trust me when I say it’s not my lightest touch
I have never made an angel blush before
But these feelings I couldn’t hide or ignore
I didn’t want to shock you by giving a text out of the blue
One that said ‘be my girlfriend’ or ‘I love you’
Or text and say…"hey we should mate... I mean date"
that isn’t me am telling you straight
My feelings for you are yet so true
I could not control them any longer, little I could do
You said it yourself once ‘it can’t be hormones’
And am sure it just can't be your pheromones
I hate to bore you with all this biology
Between you an me I thought there was at least some Chemistry
do we not click and connect on many a level?
That’s the main reason why I regard you as so special
