 What should we do?

What should we do if Congress passes this rediculas bailout plan?  75% of the people polled are against it.
We vote out every man and women who voted for it.  Vote third party, vote for anyone exept the ones who voted for it.  Make a statement that we are not going to be lied to anymore.  We must stand up and take take our country back from the special interest groups and others who want to take control of our country.  We as the people must stand together and just say no more.  We have the power to do that.  We must stand together on this issue because if we turn over all control of our lives to those who think they can run it better, we have lost our freedom.  We are free and must remain so.
Vote all the commies out do it in November.  Rember you only have about six day to regester to vote in November.   Vote them out, Vote them out and do it in November.  Make your vioce be heard.

And if all else fails, go to the pub have a few beers, switch to the hard liquor and forget they exist.

I'm sorry, I know nothing of your politics, but I just wanted to leave you a quirky message. Instead it shouts AA. Hope you are well.

Eric:
I read your post and while I am not really for a bail out by the Feds,
I think we "need" it right now to get Wall Street and the economy moving again.

A lot of people are saying, "Just let the banks buy themselves out of this mess". Well, in ,truth, that would work:; but the problem there is that we would lose part of the free enterprise system and the bigger banks become the monopolies.

On the other hand, if the Feds bail out the banks, the free enterprise system is in tact but "we" as taxpayers assume all the burden for many years to come.

It's kind of a double edged sword here but one that needs to be addressed quickly before "we" as a country go bankrupt and lose any of the influence with the world we have left.

Sorry, this is a very touchy subject for me as I used to work in the financial community and can't believe what a horrendus mess they have gotten us into.

I buy beer but the profits go to Belgum now.
Regetfully you are correct in your assement Funnyman. It is just a shame we let ourselves get into this mess.

Let just hope some lessons are learned by this. We would not be as deep as they were in the great depression, we don't have a dust bowl going on also.
