Let's Play Catch (up)

It has been an eventful time in my life lately.

Moving Saturday went as well as one could expect for moving... it was a lot of hard work and took most of the day, but it was well worth it, I really like my new home :) and am grateful for all of the help!!

And then there was Sunday...
1st the time change scewed with me a little bit, I really thought I was going to be late for church

Then I go grocery shopping in SC because things are cheaper there without food tax, and saving $$ is always a good idea

Following a disagreement with one of Bi Lo's cashiers that resulted in a conference with the manager and a phone call to the national headquarters, my car would not start. Mom came and with the help of an old cigarette smoking man who worked on race cars once upon a time we got the dang thing started

it made it home and to the garage where dad replaced something called an emergency terminal on the battery and promised it should be better.

It wasn't.

I left to go back to AVL in time for Big/ Little Reveal because Morgan took a little sister and didn't make it 15 minutes from my house when things went really bad really fast. My car just stopped running and thankfully I was in the right hand lane and could coast to the shoulder where I was passed by almost 100 very large, fast-moving trucks. Mom and dad came to the rescue of both me and my groceries.

I spent my second night of real adulthood sleeping in the same bed I've slept in for the last 23 years...

Monday I borrowed Granny's car, went to work, had a party at Jenny's house (it was lots of fun :)), Granny's car has a boo-boo from the party, and drove Daddy's car back last night and will keep it for the week.

Monday sucked, bad.

Today however, not so bad.
Byron (the dog) woke me up before my alarm, I only had a 10 minute drive to work!!!!!!!!!!, and I've had lots to do today, it's a good day :)

And now that it's almost 5, I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself since I don't have to drive an hour... I guess this means I get to start working out.
Tonight we have a 1.5 mile run/walk. and then I get to cook dinner for myself :)
