| A Small Get To Know Me Post

Well hello there kiddo's,
I just figured I would make a little post to give you a small amount of information about me in general. I am 20 Years old, and well I can't really say where I am from because I am always moving and noone can ever keep up with me. Most people say that I am emotionally unavailable, but thats just because I spend way to much time focusing on my career. What is my career you may ask? Well if it is not already quite obvious I am on my way to becoming an IT professional. My main focus is on the security side of things, and I am currently working on obtaining a degreen in network administration so I can continue my path of becoming a computer forensics specialist. Im not really sure why I chose that particular "forte" out of the well literally hundereds of computerized specialties that you can go for, but it just seems to catch my eye.
I am currently working as a full time Small Business Technology Consultant, under the training and much appreciated guidance of Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 MVP for 3 years in a row Eriq Neale. This is an oppertunity that kind of fell in my lap and I didn't really realize how much it was honestly worth until it was nearly to late. I love my job, and the position fit's me quite well. I work in a community that I have not known very long but as I start to get to know each pillar of the community I am starting to feel as if this has been my life time calling.
I have worked several diffrent IT related JOBS...and I put an emphasys on job because this current oppertunity is a career. Everyone has always told me all my life you can make a career of any job, and well in my opinion I believe that is why everyone that told me that is currently still bouncing from job to job, or struggling to be happy because they are stuck at there "career" which in actuallity paycheck aside is most of the time worse than working a summer job at a fast food chain. I have firmly believed since I was a small child that the only way to get anywhere in life that you plan on going is to simply stick to it. I believe that you MUST always for anything that you want to accomplish set yourself realistic goals and bring yourself to meet them no matter what it takes or how difficult the process is. I believe that if you honestly try hard enough you will find it really is not all that difficult.
It's funny one day I was talking to some memebers of my family, and they were telling me that where as all the other children were off pretending to be firemen or police officers or Professional Athletes and doctors. I would walk around the house with anything I could get my hands on pretending it was a computer and I was "the IT guy." Remembering back to those days I start to realize that it seems everyone has to have some sort of passion in there life, and mine is Information Technology.
One last interesting little closer that could probably sum up the most of my thoughts career wise, is a simple little quote from a well know psychologist, Freud once said, " You only have to do two things in life, Love and Work. So if you love your work, then you have your life set from the start."
