The only difference
Is that I cut myself
But is that a difference at all?
I don't know
You tell me
Are we the same?
I want to know.
Do you cut
Do you cry in pain
Over what you are doing to your family?
Have you ever almost committed suicide?
Have you ever felt the blood
streaming down your face
But they were actually tears?
Do you know what it's like
To love what you do
And then hate it
Because it's hurting you?
Well I do
And that's the only difference
Between me and you.
