 What are you reading?
This blog is basically because sometimes I can go out of my mind crazy trying to find a good piece of literature to read! I have only read 3 good books this year.

I think I'm going to lay to rest anything on the bestsellers list at the moment, as I think I may be wasting my time there.

So what are you reading at the moment and what do you like about it/hate about it? Or what would you suggest for me to read?

One more question; What book have you read this year, that you could NOT put down and read cover to cover in just a few sittings?

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you!

I am currently reading a Jimmy Buffet novel - A Salty Piece of Land - I like it because it truly is a book that lets you escape to the Caribbean.

The novel that i read in only a few days is, The Scribe, by Rabbi Uri Raskin. It is a Jewish novel but it is worth your money and time. It is about a the life of a little Jewish boy and his parents and how things seem to go wrong with him. His parents nor teachers know how to react with him but then comes along this old rabbi who is a Scribe (a person trained in the art of writing the Torah scroll containing the 5 books of Moses.) He is able to reach the child and many other things happens. I had to have a hankie for the ending - it is a very happy ending. I will not let this one leave my shelf.

Thanks for sharing. I shall take a look! The Scribe sounds interesting with some depth. I love books with depth.
