The shoes of a bridesmaid never worn again...
I have just successfully completed being a bridesmaid for the 6th time. I think maybe I could work out how much money the brides spent, and how much money I've spent doing this bridesmaid business in the last two years. I think it would amount to enough to cover one wedding, on a budget.

6 Weddings in 2 years, that's 6 engagement partys, 6 hen's nights, 6 kitchen tea's and 6 rehearsal dinners. Not to mention the shopping trips, the amount of dresses I've tried on. I think I may permanently wear pants for the rest of my own life.

In my time of being a bridesmaid, I think I have truly mastered the art of recognising love when I see it. She loves him, he loves her, but she loves somebody else, you just can't win is how the wedding singer would put it. If you haven't seen that movie, I recommend it, ask someone 10 years older than you if you can borrow it, they're sure to have it.

I love weddings, and I love, love. Though I am not in love right now, but if I wanted to be, I'd read a book. The love you feel in books is real and won't disappoint apart from when the book ends...

So what is it about weddings? The fact that you can shorten them and wear them again (the dresses) that would cost an extra $70-$120 on a dress that already costs $300 approximately. Then there are the excruitiatingly painful and ugly shoes you have to wear, which is why I am thankful to any bride that gives me a long dress, that way you can switch your shoes as easy as pie so no one can see you're wearing different shoes.

I haven't worn any of the pairs of shoes that were for any of the weddings since the actual wedding they were in. People will start calling me Jane and every weekend my schedule will be filled up with weddings to be in or be at. If you haven't seen 27 dresses you can buy it at www.ebay.com.au it's a great movie. Jane and I have similiar fashion taste. But the dresses she is made to wear is just torture...

Maybe I'll put up some pics of my own 27 dresses.
