Lord, please forgive me for what I'm about to say.
Part of the reason I need this journal is because my best friend is such a bitch. I wouldn't DARE share with her the lust I felt for Eddy. I mean, I wonder if she's even really my best friend, or if I unconsciously befriended her just so I could have more than one bridesmaid in my wedding?
Tiffany used to be so sweet. I mean, syrupy sweet....almost so sweet you felt guilty accepting her kindness.
Now...SHE. IS. ALWAYS. FUCKING. RIGHT.
And if you think you can get through being with her for an hour without her mentioning how wild she used to be before she got married, or that she speaks two languages. Or that Michigan (where she's from) is so much better than Alabama. We can't get through ONE get-together without her reminding everyone that she's (a) studied abroad in France, (b) speaks French, and (c) from the North.
See, this is why Southerners can't stand Northerners. The ones living down here are on some high horse about how much better the quality of life/school/workforce/etc. is in the North. Here in the South, we know we talk a little slower, and we know our cities aren't as big, and we know you could count all the teeth in the entire state of Mississippi and it would still be fewer teeth than in Chicago alone. That doesn't make us stupid, though. We know when we're being sneered at, looked down upon, and put down just out of sheer meanness.
We went shopping the other day and, of course, she knew everything. I did not have fun. We couldn't make it an hour without her reminding me that she studied abroad. She exaggerates quite a bit about her life before she was married. She claims she was this badass living under the guise of a good girl. She claims how "wild" she was in France, how she kissed all these guys who just flocked to her, and how she went clubbing all the time, blah blah blah...let me tell you, this chica is hardly the type to be "wild."
"Wild" for her is having three glasses of wine instead of two. She's AWFUL with men. HARDLY a boy magnent.
Shut up for a change. Stop showing off for a moment so we can all have some peace and quiet. Damn.
Here's the catch: she wasn't always this obnoxious! Or stubborn!
It's only been recently that I can't stand to be around her. I literally have to be drunk to tolerate her bragging.
It's unfortunate I feel this way. I can't share it with Bradley. He's close friends with her too. I can't get this off my chest because he doesn't want to hear bad things about his friends. I don't have many other close girlfriends I trust enough to share this with.
She's also really, really, really catty. If a cute girl walks in the room, he insecurity switches on and shines like a lighthouse; she instantly starts bashing the cutie. Or she will stab friends in the back and tell me about it. I like girls. I love having girl friends. It's just harder when you're married and you're surrounded by single girls.
So...am I the catty bitch, or am I right to feel like she's the catty bitch?

LOL..Your right to feel that way, We all have them moments..But look deeper into it because she may just be insecure at the moment...<33 and by the way...Think about this..Do people really change?....Or do we just end up realizing who they are to far into the relationship?

you feel how you feel but don't write all us northerners <--- that looks strange.. off, i lived in pa all my life and then moved to shreveport i LOVED it there i thrive on enjoying new areas and people.. in fact i'm moving agian.. this time "midwestish"
you can be kind to this girl for the sake of keeping the peace but you have the right to find your own friends people who you enjoy spending your time with.

you feel how you feel but don't write all us northerners <--- that looks strange.. off, i lived in pa all my life and then moved to shreveport i LOVED it there i thrive on enjoying new areas and people.. in fact i'm moving agian.. this time "midwestish"
you can be kind to this girl for the sake of keeping the peace but you have the right to find your own friends people who you enjoy spending your time with.
