I have a friend who does Reiki on me in my most painful times.... she lives in NH and I in Iowa.... I am ever grateful for her.... I know when she does it she must also experience the pain....that is sad for me... but yet... her very efforts have given me good days more...

The pain of a client whether in counseling or Reiki does sometimes reach us. It is imperative for her to 'protect' herself, though. I used to become nauseous during particularly difficult sessions, but learned that we are channels not meant to take on the pain of a client. Much like boundaries during a counseling session. I'm VERY happy you have someone like your friend to help you, US. Very glad, indeed. All the best to you. xx

Good for you, they are wonderful things to learn! It is heart-shaped because after my second C-section, that's what it turned out looking like from all the tugging and pulling to sew me back up! Thanks for reading my list, now you need to do yours!

Yes, I dream in Spanish of drinking tequila and red wine in Mexico in technicolor while sleeping in the buff waiting for the heat to strike and happy that I've done self-Reiki on myself before going to bed! Whew!
