 2008, wohoo.
So my summer holidays are officially over.  Not that I officially had any, leaving school and all but I like to think I had a few months under my sleeve to do absolutely nothing with myself. I was sure, in 2007 that this year was going to be a gap year, and in 09 I was going to do uni, something art related probably.

The possibilities for this year are endless, and I have changed my mind a few too many times about what I want to do. The main factor in making my desiscions here is money, or rather lack of it.. Half assed plans fell to peices and infact, this year was looking depressingly like a sit on my bum do nothing much with myself year until a few days ago.

I have had a fantastic offer (fingers crossed it all goes ahead) to be a nanny in the U.K
How flash is that!?
Anywho, asides from the fact I'm dirt poor, have barely ever left the country, know nothing about babies let alone about London- I'm rather excited.

Hey Elise
Hope you've gone for the nanny job. It would be an amazing experience!
I am currently spending my gap year working as a nanny in my home country Australia and am loving it!
Its a great way to make money and if you can go overseas an amazing way to see the world!
And just think once you gain a little experience you are then open to nanny anywhere in the world!
