Hey,Kellie I'm glad for you that things are okay with your friend, I know you really wanted this to work out. Think of this as a "miracle", "a blessing" or a second chance. Have fun, you need and deserve it. Just don't forget about us and stop blogging or alot of angry people from thoughts all over the world will be after your friend(just kidding!!!) Have a great day, Lou

Keep a positive thought, my friend.

I can't point out one time because I have done the same thing as you did quit a few times, due to being afraid of losing someone and my own insecurities of my self and for lack of trust.
Sometimes I think it is simply because I care too much about people, so I am right there in the same boat as you no doubt.
The positive side is atleast we care about our friends and those things that bring meaning to our life. I would wrather be that way than not care and be alone in this life.
I know I speak for many at thoughts. We truely care for you because of the caring person that we can see that you are, so never change that and have a nice night.

I know how you feel because I want to know if I am not alone in my thoughts because sometimes I feel like I am too crazy and it helps for someone to verify that my feelings are normal and that they can identify. Your welcome

Guys do it too. Im just learning not to so much anymore:P All that extra energy seems not worth it in the end. At least so far, I havent had anyone really worth sweating/fretting over. And, I can forsee how foolish I will look if I did. Live and learn.

Hey Stormy, thanks for letting me in on that insight. I guess I should care less. . . but it's just not me. I suppose I'll just get grey hair much earlier than my lesser caring earthlings :)

Easy...One thing I have learned is that when people get quiet..they usually have other things going on that we are not aware of. I try not to panic, and let them contact me. I agree that sometimes waiting on someone to respond to you, is kind of like watching that water come to a boil..it is better to leave it and let it happen on its on. We women tend to over think everything..and it hurts us more than it helps us. I too am glad you found your friend again. Hmm..!!! LOL!! Relax sweetie..everything works out for the best in the end. :D

Shemelts - you certainly have got that right. I think I've learnt my lesson, and was lucky to come out not smelling like sheep dip, Next time (there won't be a next time) Next time I may not be so lucky.
Thanks you for your advice, always taken willingly :)

It is hard when you are incommunicado. A phone call was not an option?
I'm glad that your situation was resolved and I sincerely hope that that your friend's hospitalization was not due to anything overly serious. :o)

Easy---
Ya, it's a condition of human nature. We all,men and women
have that need for friendship and closeness. When we feel that is gone
we both agonize over it. Your feelings are very human. Welcome to the club.

Glad it worked out. Hope your friend is ok. I often jump to the wrong conclusion when I don't hear from someone.

Easy - I do the same exact things! I always assume the worst and usually it is nothing I had thought. I am not sure if it is a lack of faith in others or a lack of faith in myself that people can actually care about me but, like you, I get paranoid. Glad your fears were unwarranted!

File my name along with everyone else who is convinced, at least once a week, that someone hates me. Or is about to hate me. Yep, how nice would it be to become one of those people that NEVER feels forgotten???

Easy---
I just had a thought--Listen up now cause they don't
come yhat often.
I got to thinking(mind smoking here), How do you "know"
he was in an accident and was in the hospital? Just on his say so,
or did you do some checking? I'm sorry to say but I tend to be
a bit skeptical about this kind of thing. Now, if it was just
on his word and you want to just leasve it like that, then I will
just MYOB...If it were me though, I would follow up to really find
out whether he is a "real" friend, or just a fly by night kind of person.
Why be burned again?
Sorry, I'm just rambling here...Take it for what it's worth
and just disregard this if it seems to private eyeish.
Good luck...

*she raises her hand*...Yes, I do the same (as we both know I do)!!! But I've learned that ppl actually have lives outside of the computer world...Who would have thought????? So, we all are basically the same...insecure little human beings!!! Glad things worked out for you and your friend...:)

We all do it, male or female. We tend to assume rejection when, in reality, the situation may involve nothing of the sort. Been there, done that.
