Well I have had my Sunday, and I am just about to put my munchkins to bed. Back to school/kindergarten tomorrow, YAY. Well YAY for me, but not YAY for them. Funny how we all wish we could go back to Kindergarten where the biggest stress was trying to work out which color to finger paint with next. But when we are there, it's the last place you want to be.
Right back to my day. Well I slept in a little this morning, after my wines last night. Three of my five alarms went off... and for a moment I thought it might have been Monday already..
**Can someone please tell me here, whether it is normal for a glass of WINE to be equal to 8 standard drinks. Red Wine that is. Oh by the way I checked the label again today as I was throwing the (empty) bottle in the recycle bin, and I wasn't seeing things last night. 1 glass is equal to 8 standard drinks.
Eventually I got up, after much co-ercing and nagging by my children for their breakfast. I really need to teach them how to use the toaster don't I?
Breakfast was done, and I thought about jumping on Thoughts.com ... gotta keep up my posting zone for July.
I walked outside to get my (free) paper, and looked down the court, somebody had already put out their bin. Our bins are collected Monday mornings. Guess what....... it was RED LID bin day. Which means garden waste, branches, grass clippings etc.
OHHHHHH NOOOOOOO
You see I've explained this before, but it goes against my grain to not put two bins out. There is the general rubbish bin and then the other bin is alternated between garden rubbish and recyclable rubbish.
This means that I had to mow the lawns, or weed the garden or cut back something, just so I can at least half fill the bin. *sigh* yes I can see you rolling your eyes, saying under your breath that Easy2Say has sincerely gone nuts! No longer a rumour. Obviously it's fact! lol
So I mowed the lawns. Master 5 was encouraging, he told me the garden looked "great" once I'd done. He was so cute, he asked me if it was his Dad's job to do it. I told him
"No, it wasn't because he doesn't live here anymore and it is not his house to look after."
He nodded his head. I asked him if he'd mow the lawns for me when he got older.
He looked down at my green fingers (from emptying the grass from the catch) and he shook his head.
"No Mum, sorry I don't want green hands!"
Cracked me up. After mowing the lawns I empty all the bins in the house into the general waste.
I did a load of washing, Oh and vacuumed out my car.... by the way I noticed you Americans call them sweepers. Is that because vacuum is so difficult to spell?? JK.
Miss 8 had a friend over, so Master 5 and played Star Wars on the Wii.
I did pop onto thoughts for a quickie, which you'll see in my list. And checked up on a friend. Sent a few emails.
Well then it was back to housework!
Showered, ironed, cooked tea, cleaned up..... and hey here I am back again.
Now I was going to have something interesting to say here but the kids have distracted me. But if I think of it, I'll blog again! lol.
Never short of a word am I?
Oh and I did get a visit from Harold ... err hum I mean Geordie Dreamer. He's sneaking looks when the nurses are checking up on him. He has insisted he's still in the 100 post challenge, so hopefully that means Doug will also continue in the quest as well...... Please do .... the more the merrier... and Roe I think you could do it too, if you really put your fingers to the test.
Anyway,
Easy Out.
