What can I say to call foty the "sperm donor" right now would be a compliment to his relationship to my children. Yes I said MY children, because I seem to be the only parent who REALLY cares for their welfare, the only parent who adjusts my social outings etc around them, not the other way around.
Maybe I adjust my social life TOO much around theirs, but as a parent I don't think I can say that without feeling remorse.
foty went away this Easter with his mistress, oops sorry I suppose I should call her his wife shouldn't I? (but then again to be reminded by an acquaintance that she said from day one she wanted him, regardless of his marital status ... nah Mistress!)
No you are right, she'll always be his "mistress" to me, no matter what a piece of paper says. You may recall he sent me an email the week before Easter telling me that he was going away for Easter and wouldn't see the children - similar to last year. His explanation ...
"It's been booked for months."
To which I couldn't help emailing back -
"Yerr so has Easter."
I fell short of reminding him that Easter happens every year, kinda like Christmas .. unavoidable really, and a very important event in a child's year, maybe I should've reminded him that he has children .. not just two children who he is forced to "baby sit" once a week between the hours of 10am - 5pm. Actually no I can't say it's a job, because for the amount of times he's LATE or just DOESN'T turn up, he'd be sacked by now.
... so he's called the children each evening from his "holiday", which is so generous of him *sarcasm* *dripping with sarcasm*.
I happened to mention to him two weeks ago that I am going on another PUB RIDE and I asked if he would be back by this Saturday (18th April) to have the children. His response ..
"Yes, I'll be back for the day as usual."
Not sure but I didn't mention him having them overnight, but he made it clear that he had no intention of them sleeping over, I guess it's only been three weeks since they slept over, no need to be too frequent on being a real Daddy! I did however tell him he needed to be here at 9am instead of 10am and could not bring them back to me until 7pm to allow for the "pub ride" duration.
Miss 9 disappointed that she couldn't come riding was also not impressed that she'd have to get up earlier to go with her Dad, so she asked me if they could sleep over at their Dads'.
I suggested she ask.
Which she did, three days ago.
At the time he told her that he'd have to check with Mistress and he'd get back to her.
Fast forward to tonight when she's talking to him yet again and he tells her,
"No, sorry we've got something on Friday night, you can't sleep over."
Miss 9 is visible annoyed about this, and asks me why he didn't say no when she first asked.
I again fell short of telling her because he's a terrible liar, and he's also a shitty father. By the way I wouldn't dare do that, he's doing a fine job himself of showing his true colors.
So we chatted and I told her the good thing about that was that I loved having her and her brother all day everyday.
She was great, we talked about a lot of things, like me needing time to myself sometimes to go out etc. etc.
Anyway just wanted to moan and groan about what a putz he is, and karma if you are listening a little retribution right about now would be great.
