Another one .... Yes the Wine is good tonight.... (FIFTH LEG!)
Again Please do not read if you are looking to learn about my life, my feelings today, or how I handle being a divorced Mum of two. . . . This post will not tell you what a stinker my ex-husband is or how much I despise his mistress who actively pursued him knowing he was married with kids... No this post wont tell you this... This is an attempt at descriptive post without the final bang!

Kate scanned the crowded room as she flicked her blonde locks off her face. Her friend had insisted she be there. Couldn't have her sitting at home waiting for a "bloody text message" her best friend Jade had said.
So throwing on her tight skirt, boots and black revealing top she'd reluctantly tagged along.
She had a quality she did not recognise, and an uncanny ability to relate to most. So she was not suprised to find herself attracted to a tall guy across the room. Kate was bold but the gaggle of girls surrounding him left her gazing curiously.
He was taller than all of them, and sort of slouched forward slightly, as if to make himself shorter. But as she watched him, she was drawn to him more when he straighten up, displaying broad shoulders and nicely shaped arms.
When he noticed her looking at him, she saw his dark eyes, which looked a little sad.
Of course she couldn't be sure of his mood, and figured why bother wondering, since he seemed to have his pick of at least six giggling beauties.
Jade came back with a drink for Kate, who quickly forgot the tall hot guy on the other side of the room.
The drinks were going down very well, but it didn't stop Kate checking her phone every couple of minutes to see if she'd somehow missed a message from her mystery caller.
"Forget him, have fun tonight." Jade insisted challenging Kate to a shot glass competition that had started in the kitchen.
"I was just checking the time." Kate shot back as she re-applied the deep peach colored lipstick to her full lips.
"Sure you were. Here ready?" Jade laughed back as she handed Kate a shot of something white and bitter.
Kate felt the heat rise in her cheeks as she recognised the foul taste of Tequila in the shot glass. Jade thrust the lemon at her, and both girls sucked the segment of lemon with their lips drawing up and away from the lemon rind.
"Ooooh, you trying to get me drunk?" Kate asked as Jade handed her another. This time sprinkling a little salt onto Kate's other hand.
"Oh relax, a coupla shots aint gonna kill you." Jade said as both girls licked the salt off their hands. They sculled the second shot and followed with another lemon portion.
"Enough already." Kate giggled as the alcohol began taking it's affect on her slim but shapely body.
"Awww, you can do more." Jade slurred at Kate, noticing a cute blonde guy walking past the two.
Kate cheekily pinched his bum, pointing at Jade when he turned around accusingly. Jade winked at him, smiling widely at the antics of her flirty friend.
"Dance with me?" He asked staring dreamily at Jade.
"Sure." Jade replied forgetting Kate, leaving her to wander back into the crowded lounge where the dancing was happening.
Kate scanned the room again, the tall dark haired guy was standing in the same place, but with two guys now. One was shorter, and well built. The other also slightly shorter, but with the same frame as his taller mate.
Kate didn't realise she was staring at him, until he winked at her. Kate turned around and looked behind her, she came face to face with the wall. She looked back at him, and he winked again.
Maybe it was the alcohol, but that wink stirred excitement in her as she put her hand to her chest and mouthed,
"Me?" at the tall stranger.
He nodded his head at her. Kate had a surprised look on her face, and was about to head over to him.
But she stopped suddenly as the gaggle of girls suddenly re-joined the three guys. Smiling cheekily at him, she looked away searching for Jade and her blonde companion. Spotting Jade dirty dancing she turned her attention back to the corner where he had been standing. He was no longer there, and Kate couldn't hind the disappointment in her eyes.
Kate felt a bit tipsy and headed through the kitchen to the bathroom. The tall guy was there at the bench, just finishing a shot of Tequila. In the lit room she noticed his dark eyes, and felt herself reminded of the other dark eyes she knew like that. He smiled at her with a shy look on his face, as his cheeks flushed pink from the second shot he threw back. A bit of a scuffle broke out behind Kate pushing her into the stranger.
He caught her and held her for a moment as they stared into others eyes. The electricity was mutual, and surprised both of them. He released her, and they both apologised. Embarrassed and shocked by the feelings he stirred in her she continued onto the bathroom.
On her way back through the kitchen, Kate checked her phone again, still no message. This bothered her in her tipsy state. So when another shot of Tequila was thrust into her hand, she sculled it down without question. As she reached for a piece of lemon to square off the bitter taste, her hand touched a larger hand. Looking up she again found herself melting into his dark deep but slightly sad eyes.
"Oh hi, " was all she could muster in her now slightly drunken state.
"Here, you have it." He said with a deep drawl as he handed the lemon to her.
Again their fingers touched and she felt her knees go weak.
"Are you okay?" He said catching her as she fell slightly off balance.
"Ahh, yep I think so." She laughed as she leaned into his arms. She'd slipped on the floor with her high heeled shoes, and along with her now very tipsy state, she would surely have fallen had he not caught her.
"I think I need some fresh air." She smiled as she headed for the back door. "Join me if you want." she added rather cheekily.
She headed for the back door, and slipped again on some beer that had been spilt right at the step. He was right behind her and caught her again. This time he swept her into his arms, as she enjoyed the strength of his grip.
"Oh, was that necessary?" she asked him, feeling the sudden effects of all the Tequila shots she'd had earlier.
"I'm sorry darlin'" he drawled. "You just looked like you needed some help. "
"Well, okay I guess I did." She couldn't believe how this hot guy had saved her falling on her butt twice now.
They stood and talked for a few minutes, as she grew more and more attracted to him. She was hoping he'd kiss her, but he was a gentleman and kept his distance. Finally she said,
"Are you going to kiss me? or what?" He looked at her and starred into her eyes.
"Would you like me to?" He replied, still staring into her eyes.
"Well yes, of course! Wouldn't have asked if I didn't." She confidentally replied.
He placed his hand on her cheek, and slowly, gently brushed her lips with his.
She held her breath and waited for more. He stood looking at her, with his hand on her shoulder.
Suddenly she grabbed him and pulled him close to her and kissed him hard on his lips as she grabbed his behind. Shocked he pulled away momentarily.
"What? What's wrong, do you have a girlfriend or something?"
"No, of course not, but, its just that, well."
"Enough talking." Kate took a step up to the next step and leaned into him kissing him slowly, and as he started to join in their lips locked and their tongues danced passionately. She pulled him closer to her as he relaxed and rubbed his hands up and down her body. Feeling the curve of her hips, and the fullness of her breasts. He cupped her bottom as he felt himself grow aroused.
He picked her up and carried her down to a swinging chair at the end of the yard, where nobody could see them.
He sat back on the chair as Kate straddled him and undid the buttons on his shirt. Passion overwhelmed them as they kissed and felt each other all over. Her skirt was tight across her thighs as he moved his hand along her inner thigh. She nibbled his ear, and licked it as he went wild with passion.
They were enjoying the exploration of each others bodies, and the cool night air added to the goosebumps caused by alcohol and sheer passion. He kissed her neck and slowly moved his tongue down between her breasts, forcing her top down, revealing a hot pink satin bra. He moved a hand slowly up her top, and she shivered at the feeling of his large hands on her breasts and decolletage.
She leaned against him, rubbing herself up and down as she licked and nibbled at his ear. She arched herself back and threw back her head as he kissed her neck, and nibbled leaving a red love bite on the side of her neck. Their bodies were alive, even thought he air was frigid. They were so familiar with each other, even though this was their first meeting.
Suddenly her phone started beeping, breaking the moment.
"Do you have to get that darlin? His deep husky voice asked distracted by the high shrill.
"No, ah yes." Kate answered composing herself.
At the same time a group of girls came down the garden. Fortunately Kate had straightened her clothes and sat next to the tall dark stranger.
"Oh there you are, we've been looking all over for you." They chirped grabbing him by the arm.
He looked back regretful as Kate finished reading the message.
"Meet you out the front?" he asked as he was dragged away.
"Yes, sure." Kate smiled as she looked down at the message.
Absolutely, she thought to herself as she hit the delete button.
