Thoughts.com Blogs - Still lying.... wonder why?

Foty dropped the kids off just after 5 today, and left as soon as he could .... normal.

The kids tell me they had a nice day with him, and how JS only turned up a little while before they were ready to leave.... appears Foty is taking my advice on this. I suggested that he spend most of the day with them and then have her there for the last part. At the time when I suggested it he scoffed and told me that was not necessary!

Then I find out that JS was in the car with FOTY when they were driven home (40 minute journey) - and "coincidentally" she got dropped at our LOCAL McDonalds (5 minutes from here) - where she was Amazingly meeting a "friend". Miss 8 tells me she asked who she was meeting and FOTY couldn't tell her.

Between you and me, this is a crock of shit! Obviously FOTY knows he can't bring JS here. He would be far too scared about how I'd react, given the way I spoke to her on the phone the other week, and given I make it clear I don't accept his bullshit that she had nothing to do with him leaving me.

This makes me laugh and makes me mad at the same time .... obviously he's lying for the kids sake ... but oh give me strength!

Master 5 tells me that he wanted JS to come to our house so she could see his dog and cat. Miss 8 pipes up that JS can't come to our house. Master 5 argues back that "Yes she can!"

I couldn't help it, I told Master 5 that JS is Daddy's friend and is NOT Mummy's.
He tells me that he wants her to come all the same to see the cat and the dog. Miss 8 again says that she can't come to our house. He seeks my confirmation of this and I just say
"Master 5, JS is NOT welcome here."
He debates this, I bite my tongue and instead am here venting.

Later I suggest that we go for a bike ride tomorrow the 3 of us. Master 5 responds saying
"Why just because we are going to go riding with Dad & JS!"

Another suggestion of mine to FOTY - to take the kids for a bike ride. He'd obviously listened, but didn't let me know it. Now Master 5 is suggesting that I am copying off his Dad.

You know it really gets to me that I have to be nice about "THEM".
I know I am the bigger person, and I know my worth is so much more than both of them put together.

But I feel so inadequate sometimes that it is just ME here ... whereas when they spend time with FOTY it is a family atmosphere. Do you know what I mean?? The Dad, their Dad and the psuedo Mum - JS! Because I know she will act that role whenever she gets the chance, and for my kids that is GOOD, but for me that sucks.

And I too think it is normal to have two adults and kids.... I grew up in the typical family .... and my children were at least to begin with raised in that typical family make up.
Ahhh one day ... one day!

Okay, time to cook tea (err umm Dinner) for my hungry munchkins, and then I'll probably be back.
Oh yerr for all those AFL Footy fans out there ... my team (Carlton - Blues) won again this week-end and FOTY's (Collingwood - Magpies) lost .... ha ha to him - I know his footy is important to him.... so HA HA!

I know I'm bad! But if that is the worst I can say, well I guess I've done well.
