Where do I start? Well it happened like this, I decided to go to bed early-ish last night as there was nothing on TV except AFL Football and I'd had a trying day. I read a little of the book I'm currently reading and as my eyes grew heavy I snuggled up with my medium sized wheat bag which was at perfect cuddle temperature.
Slowly I'm relaxing, slowly I'm drifting in and out of nothingness I'm sure completely enjoying the serenity of it all when my phone message shrill goes off in double time.
Rolling over I grab my cell phone and look at the message ...
Hey miss go pies lol
Now my football team, Carlton (Blues) are big time rivals with foty's football team Collingwood (Magpies) .. who were playing against the bombers tonight and when I checked the footy it was not looking so good for my Bombers. So receipt of this text really just confirmed that the 'Pies beat the Bombers. Otherwise you don't hear from Collingwood Supporters! 
Okay I think I can cop that, we are playing the pies in a few weeks and I'm a loyal supporter I dont desert my team in! just kidding of course. However I don't know who the text is from. You see I delete numbers of people that I don't want or aren't seeing anymore. I did that with HFM (Fireman) but have recently re-added him as you'd know if you read my blogs.
I'm in a little bit of relaxed state, in between that parallel universe or astro travel mode and start waking to try to figure out who sent the message, not wanting to think too hard I decide to write back ..

In my sleepy state I'm hoping he'll send something that would indicate who he was. I guess I should've just asked, but for some reason I like to guess who these people are because I think I might insult them if I say "WHO is THIS?" Then they'd know I'd deleted their number.

I smiled at the "mmmmm" but still didn't know who it was. I did however deduce that it was male, because I don't have any female friends who would find me "mmmmmm".
But I couldn't be bothered getting into a text chain it was 11pm or something so I just reply

Not being able to sleep due to curiousity I roll over and dial his number from my home phone which has a private ID on it, but it got a message that the phone cant take messages - so with no clues I fell asleep.
Now of course this morning I'm really curious .. who is this mysterious texting man that barracks for Collingwood. Now it could be a few people because strangely enough I seem to attract men who barrack for Collingwood. I figure it's the opposites attract thing. You see Carlton and Collingwood Hate each other. Either that or you are not a real supporter.
In an attempt to find out more I've sent a text this morning that is sure to provoke a response (because Collingwoods win over my team last night was their 6th in a row) -

I'm sure I'll hear back sooner or later, and whilst I'm typing this I'm thinking it might be Kevin Bacon Dude. He's a Collingwood supporter even though he's from Adelaide and he did send me a "feeler" text a few weeks ago. If it is him then well I'm happy to stay on my sabbatical. If it's Doc then hmmmmmmmm ... oh well the plot thickens and I guess I just have to wait and see.
