 My Freaky Friday
Buses and Trains - Bachelor Girl

I've had one of those days.
Yes it's Friday, so it always seems a little less like work.
BUT!!!
I woke with a dull headache which has stayed with me all day,
after taking Panadol it did leave me for awhile.

I got a heap done at work, and I don't know about you, but when I sit there and just plough through things, I often feel like I'm in my own little world.  A few were away in my immediate team, but the others seemed to be just as excited about it being Friday as I should have been, and their constant chattering in the background led me to put on my headphones and work on.
I did get bored though, and jumped into thoughts for an email or two.
I also checked my yahoo .. not in the usual way, that's still broken.
Bloody Yahoo!

I helped one customer in New Zealand, and he was so pleased with my efforts he suggested I take the rest of the day off!!
WOW!

Oh and I think I might know why I am having headaches
and dizziness all of a sudden
..... drum roll please ......

I haven't been drinking coffee.

I have not had a proper Cafe - Latte/Coffee since last Wednesday.
Hence the dizziness,
hence the headaches,
hence the cloudy brain at times.

Of course I've still been having my
coffee satchets at home,
but they are not even half as strong as
the ones I have at work, or from the coffee shops......
and it also might explain why I'm getting
a little short lately with the kids.

Mind you, that may well be from the lack of free time
I've had since it is school holidays and
foty has not taken them for two weeks.  It dawned on me tonight.

Oh and Miss 8 has asked me every day since
I told her about "Nice Guy" date whether
"You-know-who" has rung yet,
the answer to those of you who have also
been asking is "No," he hasn't rung me.
But remember he is in London and he is
probably very busy with work and his travelling.
I promise I will at least let you know when he has rung.

Tonight when we were driving home,
we had to stop to buy an engagement present
for the party I've got in a few weeks.
On leaving the store, I bundle the kids into the car,
it's raining and I'm racing around to my side when a nice man says

"Excuse me," I look around a little annoyed, it's raining, I'm getting wet.

"Yes?" I question, hoping he'll speak fast.

"You've got a flat tyre," he proceeds to tell me,
pointing at the passenger side rear tyre, which is definitely flat.

"Shit!" I say outloud.

"Yep, that's what I said," He tells me smiling kindly.

His wife looks at my sympathetically, "Do you have anyone you can call dear?"

"Umm, no, thanks, we'll be right." I reply

So I jump in the car, and call my Dad!  He's an RACV patrolman, which is a mobile mechanic type company.  Damn it, voicemail.
So being a girl (sorry ladies), I decide I'm driving the car home. I don't care! It's raining, the kids are ratty, I've got this stinking headache. I don't have time to wait.

I drove slowly, and the car is not gripping the road well, so I pull into the nearest Petrol station, and pump it up in the rain.  Then I continued to drive home.
My Dad calls me back, as he's working tonight, and then he drives over to change my tyre.
YES! I have the best Dad in the world.

Turns out my tyre had a nail and a screw stuck in it! Oh great.  So now tomorrow I have to put it into be repaired too.

Doesn't rain, it pours.
Oh and I hope you like the song I chose, it USED to be one of my favorites.
Happy FRIDAY EVERYONE.

Hey Daizee,
YES TGIF ... and no, don't rush him, let him do it when he's ready. He's probably doing very important things :) I can be patient, you know the cliche - all good things come to those who wait ;)

And Coffee withdrawals, it's all dawned on me, at least I think that's what it is. Coffee or bust! lol.

Hugs back to you too :)

Hi Lau,
Thanks hon, I think he will call, all in good time :) Miss 8 is new to this dating thing her Mum is part of, I knew I should have waited before telling her. But sometimes you just have a feeling ;)
I'm wondering whether I should steer clear of the coffee?? xx

yikes, coffee? oh no.

Sounds about right though, I knew someone who use to get Coke withdrawls (the soda!) ha! but i hope the caffine balances itself out eventually.

sounds like your paitence will reward you, Nice guy sounds like an actually nice guy so I'm sure he'll phone you as soon as the chance presents itself!

Best of luck

Not having coffee in the great northwest is a crime. Offenders need a chai triple shot venti mochochino latte injected right into their bloodstream. I'm calling Starbucks for a intervention. Have a great weekend.

I use to stay up really late when I was working and I chugged coffee like it was water. Then one day I decided to slow down from those knock your head off caffine drinks and I kept a serious head ache from it and felt very light headed. You have got to wheem yourself off of those things for real. So maybe that is your case. You are more than likely correct on the suspect.

I must degress, Who is this man from who travels? DOES HE LOOKA LIKE THAT MAN IN YOUR PHOTOS LOL, Well any ways hope you strike up some luck with this man or some nice guy soon. G'day
