It is TUESDAY, foty visit day.
But I am pleased to report *cough* *cough* that he came last night!
So we are foty free today, and tonight.
Now as usual, when there is mention of foty,
I have to have a few mandatory venting lines.
So here they go....
1) Miss 8 has school concert in August, and due to a large amount of students this year at her school, the concert is being broken into two nights, with those with a surname A-K on the first night and L-Z perform on the second night. Of course Grade 5's & 6's will perform on both nights. This is a great idea right?
Well wrong. That means that if foty comes to see his daughter perform, I will have to sit with him! But fortunately it will be dark!

Well I asked him 2 weeks ago if he wanted to go to the concert. Because I am a good MUM, not because I am an understanding Ex-Wife. Tickets are on sale this week at school,
and the earlier you pay for yours the better the seats.
Well as of last night, and this morning as I type this, foty still has not given me a confirmation of whether he wants to come or not.
And the tickets are only $15.00 but this has to be paid up front...
and now it looks like I'll have to pay it.
For the sake of Miss 8 I don't want to be frugal and only purchase for Master 5 and I! But I don't want to throw away $15.
I can't just buy it because he said he'd get back to me.
In foty time obviously.
I also do not want to be up the back row either......
arrrgggghhhh...
good to see nothing's changed. Foty is still so unorganised.
2) When foty comes here (like last night) he often goes to the toilet
nothing wrong with that, it's natural.
VENT:- He DOESN'T close the door! Take last night for example.
It was time for the kids to go to bed, well truth be told it was 15 minutes before their bedtime, but foty wanted to go early,
so he was putting them to bed early.
Anyway last night I thought one of the kids was in the toilet,
I walk that way, and was just about to say something,
then and realise it is him!
Realised because unless Master 5 had grown to 5ft 8" ....
HELLO!!!! this is no longer his house, how about closing the freakin door.
** crazy thing about this is, that when he wants to take a phone call or reply / read a text message he goes into the toilet and closes the door!!!
The beeping can be heard outside the door.
Go Figure.
He leaves shortly after they are in bed. See ya Saturday! he says..
Hmmm Yes, I'll look forward to it....

Grrr FOTY! He makes me mad for you!! What a jerk! He can't answer whether or not he wants to see his daughter in a school concert??

*** UPDATE, he's just emailed me back, now that I'm back from morning drop offs, and he is going to bless us with his presence... thank goodness.

Hmmm, interesting, so his phone calls and such are private, but not draining the lizard, or worse, huh, that's not very nice. You keep remembering and saying that, you ARE a good mum!

Nerdnutt - Thank you for your kind words. . and YES he keeps his text msg private ... I guess it's become a habit. But not using the toilet!! Oh well he's more than your standard foty! :)

Not his house, not his wife, close the door
As for the tickets if I get this right they are assigned seats, assigned as you buy, right???? Well then buy your tickets and when he gets to it he will buy his. What am I saying?
You buy yours now and get Row 3, he gets row 33 and no sitting together issue
