You may well have realised but in Australia, well my neck of Australia we don't really have huge celebrations for Halloween. However my children LOVE IT.
Miss 9 plans for weeks about what she's going to wear, Master 6 takes full advantage in asking for new costumes (ben 10, Star wars etc) for the evening.
This year we went trick or treating with a friend and his son, now his son had never been before, so he wasn't too keen on it, but seemed to have fun. He did get all dressed up ... yes I couldn't help myself, I dressed him up as a little pirate. He looked gorgeous. Miss 9 was a fairy and my friend let me organise his costume, and it was only fitting that he was the Pirate King!
Anyway, I wasn't going to dress up, after all I'm always behind the camera, never in front. But Miss 9 wouldn't have it, and since Master 6 chose to go to a friends for Halloween celebrations Miss 9 had a point. I needed to dress up since I organised costumes for everone else.
So I did ... and although this was actually taken the morning after the night before, you get the drift as to what I was .. or do you?

Oh and I do apologise, seems I forgot to put on my fake nose for the shot!!
(you can also see why I'm usually behind the camera, just not a photogenic person!)
Happy Halloween gone to you all!
