| Dates in THOUGHTS.com are a changing

Beware kind folks in THOUGHTS.com ... if you edit an OLD blog, the way the new date field is now working, your old blog will be "stamped" with today's date (or the date you edit your blog) and it will not allow you to change the date to a date in the past! Go Figure!!
So I apologise for the few old blogs that I have tried to categorise, that are now appearing in the current days stuff.
This wouldn't be an issue if it was only in my blogging list, but it appears they are now popping up in the POPULAR POSTS view.
Again, wouldn't be a problem, however they are knocking off some of the current days popular posts which I like to read, and I'm sure you will too..
I've emailed thoughts.com people and asked them to change this... maybe if we all CONTACT Thoughts.com and mention it they might do this quicker ...

Thanks for the heads up on this. I tend to read my older posts and re-work the words. It appears if you do that the post is then out of order after saving the changes. I like my posts in order ... not wanting a Christmas post listed with the March ones.
I went to the Community Forum and under Important Announcements there is "Save Draft & Scheduled Blog Postings" ... I left my concern there. I'm a person who likes to keep things simple ... more features often mean more hassle and problems. Thanks again for making me aware of this. Will save my editing of older posts until after this is fixed.

I, too, have been confused. I wrote a new blogg which appeared to disappear into Cyber Space. I stupidly wrote another and then both appeared together making me look even madder than I already am!

That has happened to me also when I edited one of my blogs and I then had to delete it because it was #1 in the recent posts (my first #1 by the way) but I HAD POSTED IT BACK IN NOVEMBER OF LAST YEAR!

I also just checked my CONSPIRACY THEORY post and it's now also in the top 25 popular posts for 24 hours but I'm not going to delete it. I would like my other post back that I deleted (thinking I messed up) with the original date on it - OK? - if the Thoughts Staff is listening.

Thoughts staff answered my message in community forums. This problem should be fixed either Monday or Tuesday of next week. The problem of posts not posting immediately will be fixed as well. I'm not sure how they are going to handle all the posts that are now out of order due to this problem. Thanks to EasyToSay's alert I left my past posts alone and will edit after all this is straightened away.
