worse thing I did was dye mine black, it went all un-even black in some bits, brown in others, purple in other bits!!

Nah Mer, The thing that sticks in my head here is that he didn't leave you a message.
He sounds a little "controlling" just from the little experience you've had here.
He sounds impatient (who isn't) and I think it is rude to bombard someone.
