Just when I thought the house was FOTY free .....
The kids had gone to bed, and were
pretty much asleep when the urge hit me.
I needed to find a particular book,
which was assisting me with my current assignment.
I knew I hadn't seen it for awhile, but my photographic memory
was nudging me to one of the boxes under my bed.
In one of the boxes (the wrong box by the way) to my surprise was a stack of .... wait for it ladies..... start drooling guys ....

Special edition Magazines!!!!
Big Deal I hear you saying. Well yes it probably could be categorised a big deal except these particular "soft-porn" magazines are the ones, that you can only receive via Mail.
They clearly have an "R" Restricted - Category 2 label on the front of them. Which means they cannot be sold to Persons Under 18. Therefore you have to subscribe to receive them.
Now finding these mags DID NOT surprise me. I knew foty used to subscribe to the Black Label editions... and I knew he bought the PET of THE YEAR edition ($14.25!!! in 2001).
Heck he even looked at Porn sites on MY computer once when he was "looking after" the kids for me - after we'd separated.
How do I know that? Well History doesn't lie, and Miss 8 caught him doing so. He told her to "Go Away" she told me that she thought her Dad had a girlfriend. Because he was looking at her (on the computer) while I was out shopping. She asked me why his girlfriend would have no clothes on!!!! 
I digress ... because like ROE says "That is another story."
So anyway I've found these mags tonight, surprised really. Because when he moved out I packed up a box of about 100 of this type of magazine and told him to take them or throw them away, but remove them from MY house.
An inventive friend suggested I mail them to his place of work, but address the envelope to his Boss - but clearly put a note to him inside the envelope. I giggled at this, but the professional office worker in me, thought this would make me look tacky, plus his boss might keep them for his own pleasure!!!
Now, I don't intend keeping these. BUT another friend suggested that, that is a way to make money.
WTF!?? I replied, widening my eyes!
No, not by stripping off the friend suggested, but by writing "Forum" letters.
Which are basically "steamy" readers stories. Apparently these so called letters fetch around $500 each if published.
So the curiousity got the better of me ...
I went to the Forum letters section, closed my right eye and read with my left.
(there was a crude photograph on the right side of the page!!!)
The letters I read were very ordinary, and very crass, but then again these editions were from the early 2000's.
I don't mean any offense to anybody here in Thoughts.com ... but I think the steamy stuff written in here is far more classy and decent that the crude letters published. And they are getting $500 ... well they were. That was in 2001.
Hmmm maybe I'd better see what the going rate is.
Imagine that, paying foty out by writing stories that he'll probably pay to read!!!! I think my conscience can live with that!!!
Oh and I think I'll turf these mags...
don't want my children stumbling on them like I just did.
Easy... Out

I can't believe FOTY looked at porn while watching the kids! WTF?! That would be awesome if your steamy stories were posted and FOTY read them! Go for it although, like you said, as hot as your steamy stories were, they are probably too classy for those magazines!

Oh. My God. XD As much fun as it sounds to do some of the things suggested (like sending them to his boss, that was a killer), I guess you are better off turfing them.
But Jesus Christ... That would have made me piss myself laughing, however spitefully.
Oh, and in regards to the forum letters.. DO IT DO IT DO IT! And if you can, make sure foty would know it's you. :P That and pray you get published. They might decide it's not dumb or "dirty" enough for that audience, if all they publish is ordinary and crass, as you say.

Mez - lol. I'm seriously contemplating it, I think there are a few Thought-sters who would help me out if I need some variety in my "attempt".
Oh the only problem is, I'd have to get a RECENT edition of PENTHOUSE, or PLAYBOY.... so I could see how they write things now-days.... But hey who do I ask about that... because I sure as heck am not going to go purchase myself one... lol..
but then again, maybe that would be another story!!! lol

seriously e2s...I didn't realize princess' father had moved to oz.....he did shit like that all the time...he did not however simply look at it...he would watch it...that's right WATCH the shit.
Not that I have anything against it, but it has a time & a place & it's not while watching your child(ren)..

MMMmmmmmm... dont approve if the G8 saw it but its all over most screens on any number of not porn sites as well, so I doubt its the first time she ever saw MY GOD a naked woman....
Sounds like a lot of fun writing in to a magazine you seem to detest with erotic content, doesnt sound like you know enough about erotic to pull it off.Or have the heart to really want to do it. However if you want to give it a try send a coule to me and I'll let you know what I think. If he had this secret stash maybe he should have brought them out ans shared with you, Open honest sexuality is a supposed given in a healthy marriage. Was he ok in the bedroom? or do you think porn distracted him from giving you his best.....
