My mom had the policy that if you were old enough to ask the question you were old enough to get the answer...I got "The Talk" at 7 when my older cousin got pregnant. lol

Want a laugh:
My mother decided to give me the sex part of THE TALK...my father did more the responsibility and drugs nd drinking part, mainly I think because Mom was a little more comfortable saying the word "sex" than my father is...
any way I am not sure how comfortable mom was either, as the talk consisted of her walking in while I was watching TV in their bedroom...grow up w/ all those brothers and sister and you not only want to get away because they are noisy but because you want to watch something other than kiddie shows at 13 or so...
Any way I was in their room on their bed watching TV sitting at the end...my mother walks in, asks me to turn off the set, which i do...
She looks at me and asks"Do you have any questions about what me and dad do in here?"(...trust me since I have become older I have wanted that chance back, the funny lines I have thought of since...)I said no, she said ok and walked out after saying if I did she was ready to answer... |
