I wish I could say it like Tony, or Molly or JD.
But I am not that talented, so I just spit it out in plain english.
No rhythm or rhyme, no fear of wasting time
Just me tapping it out, without much of a doubt.
I miss the closeness of a man
I miss someone wanting to hold my hand.
I miss a love that I'm not sure I had
I miss intimacy, I'm sure that sounds bad
I want to be held, I want to rest my head
I really don't mind where, maybe eventually in your bed.
I want that closeness only lovers feel
I want to trust I just want it to be real.
The strength of your arms, wrapped around me
The feel of you close, removing my mask of vulnerability
The tight grip of your hands, the care and concern
Just when I think my hearts' gonna get burned.
Now it's raining here, slow and steady
I've stopped looking for now
Even though guarded my heart will be ready
Don't hide any longer
come and find me
We will be good together
Making love endlessly.
* Amazing how moods can change and smiles fade. I'm off to sleep .. good night my friends.

You expressed, beautifully, the feelings and wants that live within the heart of every woman. From time to time, over the years, romantic love has shown itself in my life. At this point in time I have lost faith that romance and physical intimacy will ever be a part of my life again.
