After gettting off the phone from JS - I think about my options. I have discussed these with my solicitor and he has gently confirmed to me that I cannot stop the kids meeting or spending time with FOTY & JS!
Unless she is an ax murderer I cannot stop it.
So I have accepted this, and suggest to Miss 8 that maybe all of us can get together and they can meet JS for the first time with me there....
I Know, I know FOTY is engaged to a woman that doesn't even know his kids - Miss 8 hasn't even met her - and he gets engaged to her.... then he throws her on the phone tonight.
Anyway I suggest that to Miss 8 - who at first says a hesitant
"Okay, let's invite her over, and we'll meet her with you."
So I type out the text message in between getting the children yoghurt.
But as I'm about to send it Miss 8 starts crying and asks me not to invite JS over - doesn't want her here.
So I agree and cancel the text message.
Miss 8 is now crying and is telling me she is scared that JS & FOTY are going to try to keep her if she goes with them. She says she is scared that they wont let her come home again.
I reassure her that she has nothing to be scared of, I tell her, her Dad does not want to scare her, he just wants to spend time with her and Master 4.
She is so upset and is convinced that they won't let her leave if she goes with them.
It takes me 40 minutes to make her at ease, and assure her that they won't kidnap her, and she will be able to come home here if she goes with FOTY.
I reassure her that I will not let that happen.
Thanks FOTY you really are such a FOTY!
