Tomorrow will be an interesting day for me. I have a training course to attend. I need to leave my home around 7am to get to this training course by 8:30am. The course finishes at 5pm in our CBD. I will then fight peak hour commuters for a seat, on a 40 minute journey to the station where I've parked my car in the morning (at 7:30am).
Easy I hear you saying. Well before I get my sorry butt on a train..... I have lunches to make, snacks to prepare ....
I need to get my son to a friends who will take him to kinder at 1pm and then pick him up at 4pm ... and possibly feed him and keep him entertained.
I also have to get my daughter to another friends where she will be taken to school by 9am. Then she will be picked up by another friend at 3:30pm and driven home, and then dropped off at the same friend who will have my son.
Hopefully not too much after 6pm I aim to arrive at my friends, gather my two children, thank my friend and then go home.
There I will feed my children the lasagne that is currently thawing out in the fridge. Wash the dishes, get my kids ready for bed.
Feed our two cats, one at a time, because one is a kitten and the other a 13 year old cat. And if I feed them the same food they will either get sick or not get enough protein.
Then I have to feed our dog who will wag his tail from the other side of the door.
The kids meanwhile will be watching some TV show, it will be past their bedtime.... so I will get them to brush their teeth, get into their PJs and then hopefully before 8:30pm get them into bed.
Then I will look at the washing to be folded, the ironing to be done, think a little about the course I've attended and if I make it to my bed I will collapse on it and fall fast asleep.
I won't watch the second DVD of Lord Of the Rings, nor will I read the two books I'm currently reading simultaneously. I may get a phone call from friends wondering how my day went......
ahhhhhh bring on the week-end!
