Why not?  We know each other without actually knowing anything.  We understand each other without explaining.  Why not try?  Why not see if it's meant to be?  Why should we let other people decide?  Why care what the world says?

You finish my sentences, while I finish your thoughts.  You make me better, I make you happier.  We challenge each other to be the person we want to be.  We can be so much more together.  We could be an us.

You can be my breath when life is pressing to hard.  I can be your smile when all you can do is frown.  Together we can form the perfect partner, yet alone we will fail.

Life has taken us on weird roads, just to put us here together at this time and place.  Now we can both see that we were never alone.  There actually are others like us.  People that think like us, act like us, talk like us.

Why do we have to stay apart?  Alone, each one on their own.  Yearning for that special someone.  A someone who knows without saying.  A someone that doesn't need an explanation.

Two people on different paths.  Two different lives, yet so the same.  Why look further if we have it all right here, right now?  Why try to deny it? Why try to convince ourselves it is not true?

Because it is true.  You are me, just better; and I'm you, just better.  Maybe together we could be the best. Let's try. Why not?
