The internet is not a bad place to research, it is just there is so much garbage out there that you really have to check how reliable it is. Your facts are quite accurate and can be easily checked by legitimate sources. Thanks for the good article. (posted in Reliability of Biblical Manuscripts)
If you enjoy history, look up the incredible simultaneous invention and discovery of the jet engine. Frank Whittle/ Britian and Dr Hans von Ohain/ Germany (Nazi Germany). Each worked seperatly and knew nothing of each others work. Very Interesting. In the field of medicine not only are many of the discoveries not based upon previous work...but are dicovered totally by accident. Such as Alexander Flemings dicovery of penicillin. Like all bigotry and hatred your thoughts are based on ignorance and your perception is clouded. Scientific discovery does not always rest upon previous work or ideas. One of the unique qualities of man is the ability of original thought. To think outside the box. Theoretical Physics, Mathematics and Cosmology are excellent examples of creative thought not necessarily resting upon the prior work of others. The ability to see solutions to problems separated from the errors or direction of previous research and inquiry. That is not to say that repetition of ideas or working upon the previous research is not important in scientific inquiry….and is usually the case. But there are times when a creative light goes on and some answers that have so long evaded generations of scientists is suddenly so apparent. Now go back and pretend you made it to the 6th grade.
