Not doing so well, I am super tired even after geting close to 8 hours sleep and my belly hurts for some odd reason. I do not get sick often so I am not sure waht this is. I feel like I am walking on magnets, and they are draining all of my energy. I can not concentrate on stuff, I have tried to read a few blogs today but unless they are really short I cant quite finish them. Man I hate this.
The sirens came in and noticed I was not my self... first thing out of her mouth was... "Aww what wrong did little assembly girl figure out she was shooting to high and decide to go out with one of her kind?" I got mad... but not visibly, I did not have the energy or patience to even deal with the banter or our dance or whitt today. I simply stood up and asked her to follow me for a sec, you could see it in her eyes she thought she was going to get a scoup or some dirt. I walked out of my office and just as we both cleared my door I turned and walked back in and she looked up.... (this was priceless) "you forget something?" Just as I closed my door in her face and pulled the blinds. lol she got the hint and just left without further interuption. Ya know what they say... Auction speaks louder than words!

Doug..Actions do speak louder than words. What is up with these women?? They are just dumb apparently and quite obviously don't know when to shut their mouths. This is above and beyond the norm for stupidity..I would be just as annoyed as you are. Hope you feel better soon..could be a virus. Rest when you can.
peace :) shemelts

Yeah these are the kind of people you can insult to thier face... then talk to them 20 min later and it has not fazed them in the slightest. who no matter how many times you tell them you do not want to hear it they bring gossip like you are the best of friends. No matter how many of their parties you turn down allway make a point to invite you first to the next. I dont understand people like this. Something is not wired right.

Those women (sirens) clearly have no lives of their own or else they wouldn't be so interested in everyone else's and so eager to talk down to people. Good for you for putting her in her place although, as you have suggested, she probably didn't even notice. Hope you feel better.

I agree with Meridith. I am related to someone that always has to be in someone elses business. She watches her neighbors to see when they come and go. I wouldn't even know I had neighbors if I didn't have to smoke outdoors to smoke & the only reason I look over is because I don't want them to hear me singing. Oh, I too hope you feel better. I have those days when I feel like I can't wrap my brain around anything. The stomache ailments I usually get at night.

It sounds almost too poetic how you handled that woman:P People wish for scenes like that. It's like a Mary Tyler Moore gag. But, I bet it would feel pretty sweet:)
Wow, such simpathy for a simple down spell. You are simply feeling lack of motivation and chi, which seems to be going around. If you feel the least bit ill, just remember to get fresh air and drink some liquids.

I drink about 6-7 bottles of water a day as well as 3-5 cups of coffee... I have been doing a bit more juice the last few weeks... It was probably something I ate... I am fine now for the most part.
thank you all for your kind comments and support, you guys are great.

Water you have to be careful with because it may contain minerals or bacteria you don't want sometimes. Especially if you have a sore throat, avoid dairy and/or water. Coffee acerbates the nervous system...which usually isn't good for recovery. So, tea and coffee aren't always recommended when feeling ill. However, tea can help with digestive matters.
