I am writing this blog because of my reaction to someone else's blog. Ok Love, Valentines Day, gifts, all that. Fresh cut flowers and diamonds what every girl wants? Or thinks she wants? Cause that is what he momma wanted, and what her grandma wanted, and that is what the TV add says means love. Now before I go on I am not writing this because I am cheep, money has little to do with love and little more to do with why I am writing this.
     
       Love… you want it to grow and flourish… why buy something that will die in 3 days? Why buy a diamond that will never change? Do you want your love to never change and grow? Flowers and jewelry are no brainers to me, ok hunny I got you this cause the store said you would like it and cause I am suppose to buy you this Kinda stuff **insert big cheesy grin** and the girl takes it and is happy she got something and she shows a few friends and after some time it dies and or sit in the bottom of a box waiting to be replaced by the next pretty bobble.
So physically do something for the one you love, Make her a dinner, her favorite food, if you have to and you cant cook so much the better. Get a friend to help you and teach you a few weeks ahead of time, at dinner let her know that you wanted to make her happy and feed her the first few bites. Do you know how much every man in her office will hate you? You wont get that response from a necklace. Plan a whole day together, a walk in the park with a pick nick lunch followed up by a evening of dinner and walks along the water… but before you go out for dinner hand her a simple bag with a perfume you go out and pick out your self, something you like. When she opens it tell her that you happened across it and when you smelled it you thought of her, and how sexy she is, and you know you had to get it for her. Tell her you had two things go through your mind, tell her you pictured her in a elegant evening gown, then oddly her in just one of your old T-shirts… chuckle to your self and just tell her it made you think of her. She will go in the other room and put It on, and every time after that she sees that bottle and smells what you picked out she will have that warm memory. That is love, warm feelings, emotions, not sparkly things and expensive flowers that will die.

       Ok I guess I am done, I will get a lot of crap over this I am sure… a lot of girls will say forget the touchy feely stuff I want the diamond, and to you well I will say good luck to you…
