| Lions... dogs... wine... oh my |
Well I thought I would throw out an update on my evening yesterday. I left work and headed right to the gym I saw my trainer and she decided that everything was looking much to easy for me and we needed to step it up!! I explained to her that I was actually going to take a spin class after my session... and I am sure we could just step it up next week... she laughed... I was scared...
So we stepped it up... or shall I say I stepped it up and she watched. I was beat when she got done with me and started second guess this class thing. but there was a small chance "lion" would show up so I could not, not go... so here I am I get signed up for the class I get my number and find a bike with an empty bike next to it for when and if she showes up... so here it is I am about to give up that she is comming and with 1 min to spare she comes in but not in work out clothes... and a brace on her legg, she explained to me that she twisted he leg helping a patient and the doc wants her to take it easy for a few weeks. But because she said she would come and we never exchanged numbers she wanted to come cheer me on because she knows how it sucks going to class solo. I was kinda weirded out having someone stand next to me durring this class... I mean this is not an easy class by any standard, and to have someone just hang out... well it was odd.
After the class the instructor walked over and said it was nice to see me in class again she knows it has been a while and asked how I was doing... then she looked over at "lion" and said, "is this your wife?" hahahahaha I about fell over because of the look on her face. I politly told her no and introduced them and explained to her that once he bumb leg is better that she will be joining the class... then the instructor gave me that sly little grin like you give someone you know has other motives lol I just laughed it off.
Well we went outside and talked abit, not really about anything at all, and she said, "look I got this movie at my place I was going to watch tonight and standing out here talking has got to be getting old, it sucks watching movies alone would you like to come over and watch it and have a drink?" I was dumb stuck... I knew what half of me was saying... but I am not used to girls being so forward. and on the other hand I am nasty as hell at least I felt dirty... I had been working out for about 2 hours. I was hesitating to much I think and then she cut me off at me knees... I could not help but laugh, I think she is a mind reader part time or something... either that or my daddy was a glass maker and I am tansparent.
she said, " look I am not trying to get you back to my place to screw you or anything... i am a traveling nurse I do not know anyone around here and you seem like a nice enough guy. when we talked in the coffee shop we found out we like alot of the same books so I thought what the hell...." Then she kinda laughed, "besides... i would not touch you untill you had a shower... gross." I think that was more of a joke than anything... but it did relax me quite a bit.
After a bit of talking i gave in and followed her to her house.... it was beautiful, I did not know traveling nurses had it so good.... i mean her house is leased for her by the hospital for as long as she is here... and as it stands she has a 4 month contract.
She gave me the dime tour of the place leaving out the upstairs shich she said had 4 bedrooms... the fact she did not take me up there was a reliefe... cause I was nasty and tired and I honesty would kinda have felt uncomfortable if that makes any sense.
She asks me what i would like to drink and i aks her what she is having and she had wine so I took the same, then she scared me by jumping up and mumbling about having to let him out of the back room she felt bad for locking him in there.... i was like WTF???? lol then she went down this hall to a door and let this big ass dog out.... who jumped around her as she scratched his head... then like a homming beacon it sniffed the air locked on to my position and darted over to me... not stopping to sniff me... jumped right into my lap as I sat on the couch and started trying to lick my face.... I could not help but laugh... I started petting him and she sat there with this dumb founded frozen look on her face. I asked her if she was ok and she said yeah... but that her dog does not like men and she has never seen her dog try and lick anyone other than her. that this was all too strange. I told her it was probably cause I was stinky lol she just laughed and told the dog to get down which it did kinda.... it got out of my lap and sat on the floor with its head in my lap just looking at me... so I sat there scratching its head most of the night. She kept just looking over shakking her head.
the movie was a girly movie but I relly enjoyed it... I think I will probably go buy it soon.... "The Jane Austen book club" was the name of the movie. I think the guy in the movie reminded me alot of my self, well except he is some kinda hot looking actor dude lol and I am just me .... but he was a little kid at heart and moved kinda slow with things. But anyway if you have not seen the movie check it out.
After the movie we chatted abit but it was getting late so we said our good byes and made plans to meet up again at spin class on tuesday if the doc said it was ok... I feel kinda dumb... we still ahve not exchanged numbers yet... we just keep makking plans ans it never comes up.
well there it is in novel form sorry this is so long... i need to go weigh in and see how I did this week, then go home myself and watch a movie tonight and play with my dog lol... man i am so tired....
smile... ya never know when the most action your going to get that night.... will be from a dog...
