 Just a thought....
Do you ever write anything and wonder if people are really reading it how you wrote it? Or how you hear it in your head?

Here is my question.... say I wanted to go back and put a couple of my poems/stories on an audio file and up load them to thoughts? So that my friends could hear the piece exactly how I ment it to sound... they could close their eyes and lysten to it or ever read along with it... how would I go about doing such a thing?

  thank you for your help....

My computer just requires a microphone plugged into it, then their is an audio file that allows it to be recorded.
Uploading it, I don't have a clue.
I'm pretty sure you could call radioshack or best buy and they could set you up with the right equipment.
Sounds like a great idea...good luck

I think it would be great if everyone could hear your cute little accent reading your poems. Especially if its one of the few that make me see orange. Oh yeah. As for the file type. The software you use will normally save it automatically in a wav or mp3 file type, you can upload it to youtube or another file storage site and then link it here as you have done with Sister Hazel. I might be off but I think it would work.

I think that sounds like a great idea. I wonder that too, if people are reading my work the way I intend it to sound. I hope you are able to figure it out!

I was trying to say that I think it's a great idea - I have no idea how you could do it but I'm sure Easy could help you. Now let's hope I get this code right!

Hi again Douglas. I responded to the Scribbles Challenge this evening and ended up in tears. I wrote the story and pressed the Post Now button and whoosh - it disappeared. I calmed down, re wrote it (not nearly as well) and the font changed completely when I pressed the button again. It is a mess. Do you think it's possible there is a gremlin inside the computer. If so, I intend to shoot it. Best, E.

Hey Doug, I think Heather has the answer! And I think it is a great Idea...

Maybe an idea for a couple of you, (IF I MAY) first:

Overthehillandfar: I recommend that you write your work on a WORD document, or a text file in NOTEPAD... Save it to a location on your computer... As you write, save frequently... Once complete, go to your new post in your blog, copy, paste, and format as you will... This saves those accidents from happening!

Doug: I usually hand write my work first... Starts as a bunch of randome thoughts jotted down all over a few slips of paper. Once this is done, I piece them togehter, cross out, draw arrows, and rewrite unitl I find the words I want. I then use word and as I explained to OTH above... I spend a majorityof my time, moving the sentence and adding and deleting punctuation until I figure out how to write it as I want it to sound...

Just trying to help... Hope you all do not mind....
