| coffee... diner... and a break from the rain.... |
Well I am sitting here in Seattle in a coffee shop that I am absolutly in love with... A place called Fremount Coffee... they roast thier own beans here and the WiFi is free as long as you buy something. Ummm and it does not hurt that the girl behind the counter was a hottie... So I have made a decision about Seattle and this area. I really like it hear. People are nice and friendly and there is a ton of history an real culture here. guess where I live there is some history but not much culture if you can understand that. I live close to many many military bases, so we are more of a melting pot, but because you have that everything seems so generic, your basic chain stores and your wal-mart and your applebees stuff like that. Real small mom and pop places that are unique just dont last. I kind of see this place as what would happen if a costal town and a country town and norther town and a southern town an a big city all had a big love fest... this would be the love child. haha well anyway that is how i see it. hope on Wednesday to get alot of great pictures.
Well i decided toget to the coffee shop because I came here to meet one of our thoughts members for dinner and I ended up being more than 2 hours early... haha dam the time change! so instead of sitting there and drinking for hours untill he got there i thought I would come write and spend it with you guys. So yeah anyway...
the training class is going well the facility is absolutly amaizing. I feel so second rate at the moment after seeing their shop and then driving past the aviation factory as well... but I am here to learn and learn I will. I have found that i have a few things to look forward to while I am here so the normal traveling blues that I useually get have nt bothered me as much which is a great thing!!
I just wanted to drop in and send a big hello to everyone!!
Smile... the city is alive you just have to learn exactly how to check its pulse.
