Is it just me, or hasn't there not been any good music come out in our society in at least 10 years? Don't get me a wrong, there has been a few hit makers, a few one-hit wonders but just a lone few. But nothing really stands out as being great. Every time I turn on Jay Leno or David Letterman I see bands that totally suck. They have no rhythm, no harmony and no lyrical content whatsoever, You can't understand a word half of the time, hell most of the time. It might be just me. I was born in the year of Appetite, the year of Guns N Roses, the year of the good stuff. It is really a shame that most of the bands from the 70s and 80s are out selling bands from today. That right there is proof that music from that era is going to stand the test of time. This generation has the luxury of a music program called ProTools. What ProTools does is allow crappy musicians make crappy music, and put it out there for the masses to hear that they truly have innate talent.

Just so I can get my point across. Here is a fact. Last year Kiss put out a collection of life material on DVD, and this collection is a three DVD set. Two of the three DVD's are out, and within 48 hours those DVDs are number one.
