Just out of curiosity, what kind of disability do you have? I have RSD/CRPS type II. I could explain what it is if you want, at another time though. You are right about disabled people not getting the same rights as abled bodied people, I realized that real soon after I got hurt. The most difficult thing to prove is that a possible employer discriminated against you because you are disabled. Yeah, there are laws on the books, but what good do they do if you can't prove anything?!... I get what you are saying. I don't agree that America sucks, there are worse places to live, check it out on the net. I do, however, agree that we can and should do better by our disabled people.

Try going to somewhere where you have no freedom, bud. You'd be thrown in jail for the propaganda you are writing against the country. Americans seriously take way too much forgranted. At least you're not on the streets weighing a mere 60 pounds and wondering if you'll get to eat this week. Things could be a lot worse, you should consider yourself blessed.

It's hard to feel blessed when our govt would rather spend billions of $$ for an unjustified war rather than ...damn where do I start...How about the disabled,the homeless, the people living at or below poverty level,our vetrans that cant get good medical treatment,people with no health care,american children going hungry? Every american has the right to complain about the system and those of us who have served our country have really earned the right to complain.There are alot of flag wavers out there and thats cool, I'm one of them, but theres alot of flag wavers out there and thats all they do..never serve their country or there fellow citizens in any way.as for wandering the streets wondering where you will sleep tonight or if you will eat...I dont know where your living at, but even in my small town ( less than 2,000) we have homeless famlies,our local churches have dinners for them, I hire the when I can. America maybe the land of the free, but equality and compassion has a long way to go here.

I really do understand where you are coming from, really. However...I do believe that we here in America take way too much forgranted. Your situation could be far worse. Some of the people in Africa and other parts are so grateful when they get to eat...we rarely stop and think twice about it. They are grateful for what they have...and for the most part, they don't grumble about what they don't. They are content to live and love...and they focus more on community than individuality. We feel sorry for them, and they call themselves blessed. Honestly, Wayne, I was referring to the way of life in other countries. Many weigh under a hundred pounds, no roof, no food in view. I really, honestly believe that people need to get more involved with the community. We haven't learned how to take care of our own, and that's really sad. Jesus said, (do pardon my paraphrase) when you've done it to the least of these, you've done it to me. We're expected to go out and take care of those who can't take care of themselves. However, we've become so wrapped up in individuality and self, that we forget there are other human beings out there that don't even have 2 percent of what we do. Wayne...I completely agree with your last statement. There is no love anymore...and that is absolutely heart-breaking. America has lost the foundation it was built upon...until we get back to that, our people will suffer.

It's sad that you would think that America sucks. I have lived in other countries and like Wayne am a Vet. However, I feel if you don't like it here, then leave. It is by the Grace of God that we live where we do and I praise God for his blessings on me. Maybe that is what you need Doctor, God in your life.

This mesasage is for Naomidarlene and sistercyndi. You are the typical type we have in America that are well off and never know when you have been screwed by the government and when you are screwed then you say, Give me More. just as the people from the Gulf war and from Iraq war got screwed. it doesn't have to be a just war look at katrina and the thousand that just came back, to lose their benefits! I'll bet you are people that prospered from those things in one way or another. maybe that is why you get mad when an American needs help you feel you are being cheated. then wave the flag and say, whoopla hoola we Screwed another flag waving veteran who was an American until he complained about getting screwed now lets kick all of the "Nay SAyers" out! I suppose you want to kick me out of this country as well. Just as you want to kick the generals out that complained about not enough boots on the ground! I am sure that when you heard that, you all rallied up and got all of your family members out there to join the military or sent hundreds of dollars to support the war. Did you know that a lot of your tax loot is being sent to Pakistan,North Korea,Lebannon and other welfare countries that you love? Yet you bitch about it when an American asks for help or complains because he is denied the rights that are slowly being taken away.I'll bet you have a "Support Pakistan" label instead of "Support our Troops"! maybe you will be happy if your social security or retirement is taken away. And if you are not happy and complain you should be told to leave the country? is that your point of view in life. I should not use you for example because if you lost you SS or retirement you would not care cause you probably have enough money made from other peoples misfortunes to even notice. Fact is that people that served this country as well as those that have not served and have their eyes open have as much right to say what they have to say when they get screwed just like you all that have your eyes closed and never served. PROBLEM IS THAT YOU PEOPLE THINK THAT SUPPORT ENDS WHEN OUR TROOPS COME HOME. IF YOU LOOK AT THE NEWS (CNN) THEN YOU MAY LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF OUR RETURNING TROOPS, that is if you open your eyes to the bad news as you do the for the good news. UNITED WE STAND, DEVIDED YOU MAKE US FALL. I COME FROM A FAMILY OF VETERANS AND OUR EYES ARE OPEN. Are we all not equal to the freedom we are fighting for? I suppose I should be like you and just close my eyes and hope that my turn to get screwed never comes, Too late for my family we already got screwed. NAOMI- ALL COUNTRIES HAVE FREEDOM THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NO FREEDOM UNLESS YOU ARE IN JAIL EVEN THEN YOU HAVE SOME FREEDOM.

wow adam2052 you do have some issues. I'm really surprised that you can have so much hatred for you fellow man. How in the world could you ever come up with the comments about me and Naomi when you don't even have a clue to who we are or what we stand for. Don't we have the right to express ourselves on these blogs as you do? It seems that you have pre judged us without evening knowing who we are. All because we don't agree with your American bashing doesn't mean that we think American is the "wonderful" and fully support all that goes on here. Like I said I've lived in other countries and see what their life style is like. America is the best country to live in. However, in this world today there is no utopia. If you hate America so much why do you still remain? Yes, I am fully aware of where my tax dollars are being spent, but what can I do about it? Vote, yes I do that. But can I stop what the government is doing? or dictate to how they spend my money. Tell me how. You are just as ignorant as you are trying to say that I am. I still believe that this country, fallen as it is, is the best country to live in. Have you lived in other countries? Have you seen the abuses that the people in China have to put up with because they want to have the right to worship the way that they feel is best for them? Have you see the poverty first hand in India? Or anyother third world country. I highly doubt it. Adam, you definately have some issues that need to addressed without blasting people that you neither know or understand. My comment was not offensive and was not meant to be.
