Ok - so this weekend my boyfriend and I went to a family entertainment center - bowling, pool table, air hockey, video games galore - and last but not least - Laser Tag!
Mind you - I am 33 - have never played laser tag! This was my first time even thinking about playing - per my boyfriends request. And of course - after a nice lunch and many drinks/shots - suited up in a dressy shirt, jeans and comfy flip flops - (I had on heels but had to lose them for the last minute, unexpected visit to the games).
We entered the black world of glow in the dark lights - suited up - and entered the 2 level arena.
I think the thing that worried me the most - was losing my flip flops running around - as one had already proven that same hour to be on it's last little strappy leg - haha.
As soon as I headed in - with laser gun in hand - I felt all the experience from playing video games like - Turok, Medal of Honor and a few others came in mind.
We were 2 teams of 3 each. The older team - green and the other team all under 20. I was so excited! I felt a rush of happiness just playing! I felt empowered. I felt stealth like, I felt like the invisible cat. I was so thrilled and just seeing everyone run around with the same excitement - I let loose!
The game was over. I was so dissappointed - I wanted more!
My team WON!!!!
And guess what? I got top player out of all players - BY FAR!!!!
I had to boast and brag - I will be going back soon - wearing all black, tennis shoes - and with loads of friends to make it more thrilling!

Been there, done that. I share your enthusiasm. There's nothing better than stomping your boyfriend's ass in a field generally ruled by men--combat. All in good fun though! It's been a while.
