Dreamy Eyes
If you knew for a fact, that you were not going to die, time and youth on your side forever, what would you do with your life?
Everyone has a dream, of what they wanted to be.
Share yours, please?
Even childhood dreams are welcome, I actually like those the best, those are the ones we had...when our full ego was forming, before the world cut us down to the size of mortality.
If we had immortality...what you strive to be?

hmm, i think that if i had all the time in the world, and i could do anything i wanted with myself, i would want to be a great magician (childish, i know). i am good with computers, good at music, and im not that bad looking, so all the the things i strive for have come to be, except that i always wanted to be a magician.

I think it is almost childish to think such things without consequence. If you have seen enough immortal stories, as much fun as they have living without consequence, the suffering that inevitably surrounds them makes them turn to vices like drinking. Some even wish for death eventually. Even immortality has a price. DS, you finally made me laugh at you worrying about your own typos:)
First, you would have to specify what age I am immortal at, right? Or is it a progressive aging process? How do we age or not age with this?
If from current point of age--we will just assume--I would be out there travelling the world, leaping off cliffs, etc....and romancing every woman I could:P No fears anymore:) Ah to dream... Oh, and I'd be working like Tony Stark to find a way of making a flying suit so I could jet around as well:P..but then I might end up in a neverending battle to protect my technology from ending up in enemy hands. Armor up:P

I would be an artist and travel to Kenya every year to see the sunrise on the Serengeti. Afterwards I'd spend a few months each in Paris and Venice and then on home to Savannah. Repeat yearly.

It is a fact that we all are going to die. For me, I strive to be the best I can daily, do the best I can daily, feel the best I can daily, LIVE THE BEST I CAN DAILY.

Well isn't everyone a party pooper, what is wrong with having a bit of imagination?
anyway, to answer the wonderful question...
I think we would all be very different if we couldnt die, we would take alot of risks, and i think i would like to do a lifesaving job of some sort, like a fire fighter or something similar, but then we get on to a scale where I would be in a position to help many people, and almost feel as though I would hold some sort of super hero status, so I could save lots of lives :D
then the naughty part of me knows, that if i were to stay young and lovley forever then i probably wouldnt want to settle down with anyone-watch them grow old and die, so i would have to travel the world- making new 'friends' every day he he he

If I knew I was going to be young and alive forever like that creepy film 'Death Becomes Her', I would probably get right to it and attempt to kill myself.
Hey, who wants to live forever anyway?
