This is a 1st that I was the first one to get to comment on your blog.
I have spoken the words with ease all my life. It is awesome to not hold out love. |

| Wonderful and thoughtful post DS .... I have stood at a grave site with things left unsaid on my heart. It taught me a valuable lesson ... say what you feel, even at the risk of rejection. The hurt and pain of rejection is minor compared to the pain of someone leaving this earth never knowing someone loved and cared about them. We think we have all the time in the world ... but we only have this moment. Excuse me as I have a few "I Love You" emails and phone calls to make. Thanks for the reminder. God Bless |

"Love, as a word, is memorialized in countless books, movies, poems, and musical compositions. While there are many definitions of love, its essence, when used as a verb, can be captured in a few phrases:
to care for,
to cherish,
to respect,
to honor,
to show an interest in,
to value,
or to treat with kindness."

| and yet if not for these diseases of the soul where would our inspirations stem from? much as it seems bleak to admit...as writers we are also masters of turning the darkness into something beautiful. there is no worthwhile self examination while simply staring into the happy mirror. its the shadows that make us worth the glance. |

I see that in you.
People like you, make life worth living.
To hear someone say those three words, could save a life.
Your loving words, have many times, encouraged me, and have given me tenacity to keep doing what I do, which is glorifying love, through melancholy songs from my heart.
Peace to you my friend. |

I know exactly what you mean, about finding someone in death, and wishing you would have said the words, that were on the tip of your tongue, and yet you held back because of the worry of what they might think of you.
I did that with my own mother.
I still rehearse in my mind, at times, what I wished I would have said to her.

I must let you know as well, I love you.
We have never met in real life, but just by reading your words(especially your last dream entry), and through our private conversations, you have become a very important person in my life.
Friends like you, that I trust instantly, are a rare thing for me.
I can now say, that I have three people that I have met in my entire life, that I felt that way about, and you are one of them.
Your spirit shines, with genuine kindness and caring.
I love you more than you will ever know Marie.

So true is your statement.
I especially love melancholy music.
I get my best writing highs, when I write of the dark paths in my life.
The light would not even hold or even be considered light, without the darkness of our souls.
Peace! |

DS, Are not you glad to see. I once was blinded by the fears you described in your friends. Afraid to risk love, unable to know how to say it.
I guess we live by example. To teach love, we love. May this season be filled with love for you, DS. |

Hidden love is a pandemic.
The cure is boldness of spirit.
Be bold in your love my friend, then there will be at least two of us, fighting for world wide healing. |

It feels like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders when you finally have the courage to say these 3 little words.
Maybe these 2 people you are talking about just need a little courage.
Great post DS.xx |

Love does make the world feel lighter.
The two I am speaking of, need more than courage.
They need a thump on their thick skulls.
hehe.
I am speaking of my son and his girlfriend since 6th grade.
hehe.
I give up on them, if it was meant to be, it will happen.
I just refuse to be their telepathic instant messenger any longer. |

Rejection is a tough pill to swallow and the pill gets bigger after each rejection, that's why love stays hidden. When rejection hits it tears away your own self-love bits at a time until you think that no one could love you. The real hidden love disease is lack of self-love.
You have conquered your disease, LftH, and you are doing a great service to others by sharing these kind of writings.
Oh, by the way, I love you, you know. |
