Read My Mind

A ritual....

Writing has become a beautiful ritual.

A catharsis...a soul cleansing.

It literally draws me here to write out my thoughts.

There is a mysterious high...that consumes me....to express myself through the written word....

Years of addiction to writing out my thoughts in some form...forever notebooks...open journals for strangers to see..has made a mere public journal- into my .....

Passion Source

I have tried many times to stop this obsession.

The need to come here.

The desire to be understood.

Yet, will I ever really understand myself?

Maybe I do not need to be understood.

I go back and read some of the things I have written, and I have to take a second look.

One can learn a lot about themselves by writing out their thought life.

All psychotherapy is - is someone talking- and someone listening very carefully.

Strange thing is...I come here to talk to myself....to God...and to express emotions to mystery people...saying the things in poetry form....that I wished I would have said in the past.

Drama enfolds when others actually comment on my conversations with myself...and with my fantasy conversations -with the ghosts of my past.

A  Ritualistic Obsession

One that has made possible... others having the ability -to read my mind.

We all need to feel connected...I crave to have mind connections with others...an understanding.

This journaling craze....has given us the ability to connect to people in a whole new way.

We can have mind connections through this media.....

Literally, we are putting our thoughts into writing...allowing others to read our minds.

Interesting concept....

It fulfills an important need in the human psyche.....

To merge into something more meaningful in life...

We can never walk away from our need to have self expression.

It is a human instinct.....

The Instinct of Love....

To be known....

To be embraced....

No one can walk away from the Eternal Embrace.

Can we embrace each other's hearts through our words?

I think we can....it is a Divine Connection.

Even Scripture says....

In the beginning was the Word...

The Word was with God....

The Word was God....

Scriptural Philosophy....says that God expressed himself....through the written word.

No wonder....I feel the need to write.

Or to express....who I am.

I think that I will go and read some minds now.

Never thought I would get to be a mind reader.

I favor Poetry and Prose....

Some think they are disguising so much by putting their feelings under cover of rhyme or song.

Thing is...I can read between the lines.

Can you?

Ahh I agree. So much I have written, but unlike yourself it is all just paper in the bin till recently.
A friend of mine I told recently that I write what I think and feel more than I talk, so she asked to see some, so I showed her. She cried and said that it felt like the last 3 years we've known each other was so wasted because She now feels she doesn't know me.

I am going to quote you:
"Ahh I agree. So much I have written, but unlike yourself it is all just paper in the bin till recently.

It just goes to show how we tend to live in closed off worlds in communicating who we are to others.
Locked inside of our own minds.

Yes, yes we do. And everything around us seems to whant to keep us that way, so we fear missusnderstanding and judgement if we tell people whats in those little worlds.
But I have decided to say screw 'em, after all, that uncertaintly has left me uncertain of my own mind of late, till things came out on their own.

damn pressed wrong button.

So I intend to learn to speak my mind, literally, bring that little world to the rest of the universe.

Placing our feelings into the written word helps us focus what we are feeling. It's truly amazing sometimes to find out what we are made of.

Words are the true autobiographies of our souls. No one else can ever tell the story for us. Our soul's story lingers in our essence long after we are gone.
God Bless

Interesting perspective of mind reading....loved it and totally agree with it. I come here (recently) to empty my mind. Rereading your own post sometimes puts it all in perspective, and just some things that we want to share just can't be shared verbally in the same way. We want people to know what is going on inside our minds, There is MORE to us than what others swear they know. Mind reading...I think I'll go read some minds....

I feel it, too. The need to write, like breathing. I just don't have the guts to spill it all in a public forum. I love to read your posts because you are so courageous in sharing.

I'm glad to read you are still it. It's like a draining of the soul. I think everyone can read between the lines, but most are simply unaware of it. xox

Sometimes people write what they are afraid to speak, even to themselves.
Reading and re-reading your words make it so much more real.
I really like this post DS.xx

Yes, speaking our minds is truly expressing our very being.
To be or not to be?
I just am....
Just me.

I do find it funny that we get so caught up in the thoughts of others.
I bet alot of us know each other better here on thoughts then some of know the people living in our own homes.
It's great to journal thoughts and then go back and read them.
Last time I went back and read my posts, I was thinking how could someone that has been thru that much crap in such a short time still be walking around with a smile.
The support that we get from others reading our thoughts is what keeps us coming back for more.
Peace

Just to have someone understand us.
Makes us want to understand them in return.
In all of that, we all grow to have new understandings about life.
It is called "Relationship"....
Relationship is what life is all about.

We may even find out things we do not want to know about ourselves.
Be prepared for the discovery of deep things about yourself, when one starts fully expressing their mind and will.
