Vegas, what to say about Vegas?
I could go on and on about the fancy hotel, the limos, the gifts, the treating of us- as celebrities....yet, I need to just relay...' what meant the most.
The people meant the most.
I watched you all very closely.
Memorized your faces and your voices.
Took in fully who you all were.
I watched a group of people come together out of pure love and respect.
Amazing that so many of us have connected on such an intimate level.
Through our diaries, we have come to know each other very well.
I was speaking to Valentina, she asked what I would say if I had to describe Thoughts.com, to a stranger.
I would say, it is like sneaking into someone's room, to read their diary.
On another level, it is truly reading each other's minds.
The People...The Beautiful People
My impression of all of your Spirits:
Ben- He has the most endearing presence, truly, he gives away confidence as he speaks to you. He radiates a sunshine about him, especially when he is smiling. It is evident that he is a born leader, but he does it with such a humble way about him.
Thank you Ben, I wish I could make you feel as wonderful as you did for me.
You are a truly a blessing through your vision here at Thoughts.com.
I put the Thoughts.com bumper sticker on my car today, in hopes of bringing many others here to this haven called....'Thoughts.com.
Valentina- Such a graceful host. So filled with sincerity. Breathtakingly beautiful. Her spirit shines simple purity. She is so comfortable in her own skin. So very young, but so very wise.
She was a silent witness to me. Her witness was to...'live...'love...shine'
One could not help but love her instantly.
She was contentment personified....so content with all in the world.
It made me wonder what she had, that made her so full of 'Life!
For your beautiful mother...tell her that she shines as much as you do.
Both of your love is addictive.
Also, for baby Jason...he is a star.
Watching him play in the pool with his daddy, made me notice that smile...what an asset in life, that smile will be.
Just a shining example of a loving family.
Ryan- he was definitely the camera man, he held it like a pro. It seemed like he was all work no play, but he still carried that charming smile. I know I mentioned this, but as with Ben and Valentina....he had that same loving' spirit...just making you feel comfortable and at ease, immediately. Thank you Ryan, for all of your hard work, catching our memories on film. They will be so cherished.
Shannon- What can I say about this beauty? An elegance about her. In dress and the way she carries herself. She was very hard not to look at, she has a face that just makes you want to stare at her. Then she opens her mouth. Such love...such gracious speech. Such humbleness about how beautiful she is, she became shy when I mentioned it to her, which even made her more beautiful. She has a glowing spirit, you can see it twinkle in her striking eyes.
Coloradodreamin- My sweet Colorado...her love in person is even better than her lovely comments that she leaves for me. We had so much in common, that it was eerily odd at times, when I would hear she has lived much of the same kind of life I have. Just an instant connection to her. Like...we were meant to be friends. She was so easy to talk to, and to just be with. Such a sincere and beautiful heart. I am so glad that I got to finally put my arms around her.
I cannot forget Kevin.....he really made me laugh. Such a wonderful conversationalist. I had a wonderful evening with him at dinner one night. He is creating his own blog, and I am so excited to be able to see him again.
These two were some of my personal favorites.....they loved me fiercely, and I felt it.
Such a beautiful thing that love is.
ladiegodiva- I was so impressed with ladiegodiva, she looked just like my idol to me. Madonna' is my all time favorite, then there she was. That made me love her instantly. I told her that I wanted to dress her up like Madonna for halloween...she laughed at me. She was witty and classy, full of life blonde beauty. She had a great bunch with her, her charming husband and sweet quiet Mandie.
Wayne- He is so exactly what I expected, yet, he was not starting any fights down there, must just be a forum thing...hehe...sorry Wayne, I could not resist. He was though...just as I expected. Strong, funny, a wonderful gentleman. His wife Linda was just as wonderful. I felt so at ease with these two, like long lost friends or something. Truly Wayne was the one I wanted to meet most in Vegas. I am so glad we both made it.
badlydrawnstickman- Now Stickman blew me away! So tall and handsome, and as charming as a magic spell. He had such a class about him, the way he moved and his choice of dress. I really think it was his 'Rick Springfield shoes. He also has a wonderful mysterious accent...one that makes you say...huh?' ....just so you can hear him say it again. Quite the ambiance a 'Stickman creates when he is near.
BootLady- I just loved the way she could carry a conversation. I am not very good at having conversations, yet, she made it look so easy. She was a refreshing one to sit and hear tell of her life stories. I never knew her very well before Vegas, but I surely want to get to know her now.
Lamebull- Now he is a man's man. Tall handsome, witty, strong, and so lovely to his wife.
He and Annabeth, were such a happy couple, you could just see it. Lamebull is the first one I really had a conversation with, I saw and recognized him in the lobby. I went up to him and asked him if he knew who I was. He said no...hehe. I enjoyed these two very much. Very good and charming people...very good company, their hearts of gold shone through.
Scotslad and Forgetmeknot- Such lovely and quiet people. I was so happy to see that they made it. Scotslad was one of my first friends on Thoughts, I respect his writing highly. Getting to meet him was a pure pleasure, although, I did not expect him to be so shy. I was so honored to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Namaste.
Roe- Roe was just as I expected. Smart, helpful, interesting to talk to. She always intimidated me some, for I do not know what reason. I found out that it was all in my head. She was so easy to talk to, and had an infectious smile. I found her very charming, and warm hearted. I hope to get to know her better.
I just realized, I never was introduced to roe's husband.
I am really sorry about that.
It has been such a blessing, to get to know all of you.
Thank you Thoughts.com!
