This is dedicated to my Auntie Pearl...one who cherished me.
Living in a dark closet...full of guilt and shame...crying tears of rejection of the soul.
In this closet some take their own lives because they cannot find acceptance in this cruel world.
Wandering from person to person....hoping to be accepted and loved.
Even hiding from God...because someone told them that God could never Love them.
When God walked this earth...he had enemies that murdered him.
Do you know who God's enemies were when he walked this earth?
They were the religious people...the Pharisees.
He refused to follow their stupid man made rules and they hated him for it.
They said he was crazy and a liar....because he rejected their loveless rituals.
Christ hung out with the people that the Religious condemned as evil.
His closest friends were what the Religious.... called Sinners.
The truth is we are all sinners.
The Religious claimed they were not...that is what God condemned.
He called them vipers....snakes....white washed tombs full of dead men's bones.
I am defending the homosexuals today.
I believe God's Love is asexual....without regard to sex.
The ones Christ loved most were men....and a prostitute.
Scripture speaks about all of us being the bride of Christ.
How could a man be a bride of Christ?
Scripture speaks of our meeting God as being called The Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
There are many men in this world in love with God....and Scripture clearly depicts God as male.
Sex is not Love.
It is an expression of Love.
God condemns sex sin.
Sex sin is not being gay.
Sex sin is lust......sex with no Love attached to it.
Sex is sacred between two who have Love for each other.
The abomination that Scripture speaks of is not homosexuality...it is sex without Love.
He gave us that rule because he knows how it feels to be rejected for our Love we offer through our sex.
The Song of Solomon in Scripture speaks of all kinds of passionate Love....sexual Love.
Many scholars argue that it is a book about our Love for God and his Love for us.
Some say it is about sexual Love.
I think it is both.
If we can compare our Love for God with sexual Love....that tells me that God clearly understands sexual issues.
He is in fact the one who created it.
We are sexual beings... we are to use our sex to enhance and express our Love.
My Auntie Pearl was gay...and as a child I knew that her friend was her Lover.
It never bothered me...it never once took her lovely heart from her.
She for years felt like she was bad...she was ashamed of herself.
I never knew how to comfort her.
She was one of the kindest people that I knew.
You know what made me Love her?
She would give me a quarter for candy every time I saw her...along with a hug and a kiss.
She told me endlessly how pretty I was....she Loved me.
Go look at the ten commandments!
Not one of them say ....you shall not be gay...you shall not love someone of the same sex.
No...the only thing about sex mentioned is....do not commit adultery..
That means....do not share your sex with anyone but with the one you are committed to....because it hurts ever so badly to be cheated on.
I do not care who disagrees with me...you may say whatever you like...no one will change my mind.
True Love is God's Love.....and it leaves no one out.
Everyone is included in his Love Circle....except for the ones ....who want others to be discluded.
That is what is evil...that is the abomination....wanting to disclude someone from God's haven of Love.
I believe that in God's city that he has waiting for us...there will be no more SEX....there will be a new way to Make Love...It is a communal Love....it will blow our minds....and it will include all of us.
I believe we will all have asexual mindsets in that city...all will be making REAL LOVE to each other...in Spirit.
God must be gay...because he is in Love with men and women.

Interesting points.
I wrote in my Christian blog that pastors that get up and thunder about homosexuals while ignoring the unmarried straight couples in their congregation are missing the point. As you said, God speaks about adultery and fornication. He doesn't say that sexual sin is better between a man and a women than between two of the same sex.
I agree with you about heaven. It says we will not marry or be given in marriage. I too suspect we will be asexual and love communally.
I can't wait!

The world has its nerve to condemn anyone about their sex practices, especially with all of this pornography floating around.
The pornography industry is a multi- billion dollar business!

A courageous post...and 1 I happen to agree with on a few levels. I grew up in a christian home and have constantly been condemned for being gay and if anything it has put a wedge between me and God.

people have a natural reaction to try and abolish that of which we fear. Sadly enough there are too many people in the world who are "uniformed" about the world that we live in. as well as their parents teach them to be judgmental and they in turn will teach their kids as such. It is a vicious cycle that can only be beaten by properly informing our world. There are alot more things to worry about then simply whether or not two people who are in love are allowed to get married or not. I think that religious groups should be more outraged on all these priests who are molesting choir boys and such of the like. I am sure everyone would agree with me that that is much more of a concern then two people getting married. I have never read th | | | |
